Description

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role will work closely with our Accounting Department based in Denver, CO, performing a variety of AP functions. The position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the U.S., as long as you are able to work during Denver business hours. This role will report to the Accounting and Finance Manager – North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and financial regulations.
  • Verify invoice details including pricing, quantities, service periods, and terms, and reconcile discrepancies as necessary.
  • Maintain vendor master data, including new vendor setup, W-9/W-8 tax form collection, remit-to verification, and banking information validation to ensure accurate and secure payments
  • Process weekly payment runs including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers in multiple currencies
  • Reconcile vendor statements, resolve payment discrepancies, and communicate with vendors to address inquiries.
  • Process and post employee expense report reimbursements and company credit card statements.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, including procurement and other stakeholders, to resolve invoice approval and payment related issues.
  • Support month-end close by ensuring invoices are recorded in the correct period, resolving coding issues, clearing pending approvals, and assisting with AP aging and reporting needs
  • Other duties and projects as directed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years of Accounts Payable experience, with an understanding of AP principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with NetSuite and Concur a plus.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently.

Salary:

$18 - $24 per hour
