Job Summary

IT Project and Business Analysts collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes. They support internal clients by advancing business analysis capabilities and implementing effective solutions. The role includes managing small to medium business initiatives, working closely with developers, quality analysts, system administrators, and product managers. Responsibilities also encompass leading projects, coordinating across teams, resolving support issues, analyzing data, and partnering with vendors to deliver software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Independently elicit requirements using interviews, workflow analysis, requirements workshops, and surveys to provide business process descriptions, business requirements, use cases, and user stories.

· Collaborate with project team members (developers, admins, QA) to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

· Perform analysis of potential solutions against business requirements and financial impact to identify the best solution for the business.

· Actively engages with internal customers throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.

· Responsible for current state/future state process mapping on a project, feature, user story, etc.

· Supports quality assurance through test plan and/or script creation, QA team collaboration, and project team validation.

· Act as a facilitator for UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with the client, third party vendors or other testers that use the product, leveraging acceptance criteria defined with internal customers.

· Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and business partner satisfaction.

· Drives decisions, removes barriers, and leads the team and the project.

· Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

· Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

· Coordinate and manage project resources, including team members, third-party contractors, and consultants.

· Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.

· Develop and deliver project status reports, proposals, and presentations.

· Leverages generative AI and automation tools to enhance business processes, analyze trends, support decision-making, and improve employee or customer experiences.

Required Experience

Qualifications

· A minimum of five (5) years of prior IT experience, including at least three (3) years related BA and PM experience.

· A college degree, ideally a B.S. in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or Finance is preferred, but equivalent experience is considered too.

· Demonstrated experience and success working in an Agile environment, with a high level of comfort adapting to iterative processes

· Strong experience with writing business requirements, process flow mapping, use cases and user stories

· Strong communication and collaboration skills, ability to influence without authority.

· Detail oriented and possess exceptional organizational, time management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Experience using AI tools to analyze data, design workflows, optimize processes, or support strategic initiatives; ability to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy and bias.

· Ability to design prompts and workflows for AI tools

· Experience testing, validating, and refining AI-generated outputs

· Understanding of responsible AI use, ethics, and data governance

The base salary range for this role, across the US, is $104,000 - $122,000. Your actual base pay within this range will be determined by your work location as well as skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant education/training. The range provided reflects only the base salary for the role and does not include benefits.
