Job Purpose

The Sales Reporting Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting sales data to support the business in accelerating the sales cycle and minimizing friction in the customer and partner experience.

Key Responsibilities

· Monitor and assist in the system administration of various tools to manage user access, and to ensure accounts and opportunities are assigned correctly and updated timely.

· Develop and maintain sales analytics reports, dashboards and templates.

· Assist in reconciling sales performance for accuracy.

· Identify opportunities to streamline and improve reporting processes and tools.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Alliances & Channels, Marketing, Finance, and IT, to optimize sales processes and ensure alignment across the business.

· Prepare and present analytical data as it relates to sales activities, performance, procedures and ad hoc requests.


Required Skills

· Ability to analyze and present information in various forms in a clear and concise manner.

· Ability to communicate within all areas of the organization.

· Strong analytical skills, and experience with data analysis tools, including retrieving and manipulating data from SQL.

· Knowledge of Salesforce, and familiarity with Clari Forecasting and PowerBI preferred.

· Proven ability to design and create reports and dashboards that are both visually engaging and user-friendly.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Required Experience

· Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred, with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales environment, preferably with background in software technology.

· Proven experience in data analysis and reporting.

· Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of an organization both internally and externally.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

· Ability to analyze and present data in a way that meets the needs of the recipient.

· Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, Tableau).

· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Team player who is also able to work independently with little supervision.

The base salary range for this role, across the US, is $77,000 - $90,000. Your actual base pay within this range will be determined by your work location as well as skills, qualifications, experience, and relevant education/training. The range provided reflects only the base salary for the role and does not include benefits.
