WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Staff level DevSecOps Engineer that is passionate about infrastructure and platform security. Utilizing your deep cloud infrastructure and software knowledge, collaborate with site reliability engineering, product, product development, and infosec team members to advance security-focused best practices and security automation. The right candidate thrives on continuous improvement and is relentless in actively identifying and remediating security issues.
Candidate must be located in or near Sydney and/or Melbourne.
YOUR DAY TO DAY
Function as a security expert to provide technical guidance for product and product engineering teams throughout the SDLC
Collaborate with architects, InfoSec and development teams to ensure a Security-by-Design philosophy
Drive implementation of the infrastructure security architecture, strategy and implementation
Design and maintain security automation using modern CICD and GitOps processes and tools
Collaborate with infosec and engineering teams to review audit results, security scan results, and vulnerability assessments to determine appropriate remediation plans
Serve as an active member of the incident response team by acting as a technical consultant on information security incident investigations and forensic technical analysis
WHAT YOU BRING TO TEALIUM
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, equivalent
At least 5 years experience in a development capacity with Python, Java, and/or Go
At least 5 years experience in Linux system administration skills
At least 3 years of experience in DevOps capacity with keen understanding of CICD practices (Github, Jira, Opsgenie, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Terraform)
At least 3 years experience in high volume AWS environment (WAF, Cloudtrail, Cloudwatch, Control Tower, SCP, SSO, VPN)
Proven experience in a SaaS environment
Experience with container orchestration (kubernetes) and microservice environments is highly desirable
Experience securing database and datastore technologies (Postgres, DynamoDB, MySQL, Mongo, Redshift, Databricks, EMR)
Strong understanding of OWASP TOP 10 best practices
Familiar with common vulnerabilities for Mobile applications a plus
Familiar with centralized logging, monitoring and alerting solutions (Sumologic, DataDog)
Experience with modern security tools such as Snyk, Panther, Wazuh, NMAP, ZAProxy desire
