The Basics We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Systems Administration to join the IT Engineering team at Tanium. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing our hybrid systems infrastructure to ensure the availability, security, and maintenance of our systems.  This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA. Azure (preferred), AWS, and GCP. </li> <li>Experience with Bash, Python and PowerShell scripting </li> <li>Experience with TCP/IP networking and troubleshooting. </li> <li>Experience with backups, high availability and overall infrastructure resiliency for cloud and on-premises technology required </li> <li>Familiarity with monitoring and management of enterprise systems running on physical and cloud infrastructure required </li> <li>Experience with Infrastructure as Code toolsets – e.g. Terraform, Vault. </li> <li>Experience with Configuration Management toolsets - Ansible (Preferred). </li> <li>Experience with SAN storage arrays and troubleshooting. </li> <li>Ability to estimate and manage cloud usage costs and identify and operationalize cost control mechanisms preferred </li> <li>Familiarity with CI tools - GitHub Actions (preferred) </li> <li>Familiarity with Docker and other container technologies (Kubernetes, Amazon ECS/EKS) </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to work with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, GRC, Product Engineering and other teams to drive architectural decisions for cloud and on-premises technologies  </li> </ul> About Tanium  <div>Tanium is the Autonomous IT company. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
