The Basics:

A Senior Enterprise Operations Specialist, reporting to the Head of Global Administrative Operations, will create, own, and operate several programs within the Administrative Operations function. This role will require both a project and program management skillset as a large portion of the role is gaining a deep understanding of the complex dynamics when developing and operating an enterprise-wide program. This role requires an individual that is highly collaborative with proven ability to successfully engage with all levels of an organization, including Senior Executives. The individual will be responsible for communicating how various programs operate to the organization in an easily digestible way and should be highly proficient in O365, specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and SharePoint to support this.

The role requires strong analytical and organizational skills while still being a creative and innovative thinker. The candidate should be open to working within a wide range of functional areas and should be willing to play a variety of roles to achieve successful deliverable. The role requires a candidate who can work autonomously and collaborate with their direct leadership. Existing programs that this role will be involved in the development and oversight include but not limited to Contingent Workers, Technology Purchasing Evaluation, Offshoring Operations, Internal Branded Merchandise (Swag), Enterprise-wide Business Continuity, Small Meeting Strategy, and Workplace Utilization Reporting.

This is a hybrid office role required to work from the office 3-days per week with occasional but rare travel to one of our US offices for project collaboration & workshopping.

What you’ll do:

  • Develop proposals ready for executive review that clearly articulate a program’s operations and the benefits of the new or modified program approach.
  • Establish yourself as the developer, operator, and owner of specified programs where you are responsible for making decisions regarding the operations and deliverables of sed programs.
  • Ensure all programs align with our existing CSR initiatives, compliance, & audit programs such as ISO, Environmental, and Diversity programs.
  • Identify specific programs or processes that need development or adjustment due to their inefficiency or inaccuracy. Present findings to leadership and develop proposal for improvements.
  • Ability to direct peers & team members within and outside of your organization to perform tasks as required to develop and operate a successful program.
  • Evolve existing Contingent Worker sourcing, onboarding, tracking, audit, and reporting process in compliance with Legal & GRC Team requirements
  • Administer the current Technology Purchase Evaluation process in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture while developing a more efficient and accurate approach to acquiring technology while upholding the requirements set by our executives in the area.
  • Administer the current Legal / Procurement operations program while developing a more efficient and accurate approach to tracking status of pending contracts
  • Develop a repeatable process for analyzing new offshore locations in collaboration with Workforce Planning & Talent Acquisition, along with the business units looking to leverage the location’s center of excellence. A repeatable process for standing up offshore centers of excellence will also be required over time.
  • Oversee the company wide Branded Merchandise Programs which should specifically include internal branded merchandise operations and our company swag store. There will be aspects of collaboration to ensure Go To Market (GTM) operations work well, but those will be owned by specific functions.
  • Support the Head of Global Administrative Operations on the development of Tanium’s Enterprise-wide Business Continuity Planning by engaging with multiple stakeholders to gather information and help facilitate collaboration.
  • Outline workflow and approval processes for small meeting programs through our external sourcing vendor while defining ownership lanes between the Procurement & Travel functions. Periodically operate parts of the program in collaboration with Procurement.
  • Build monthly Executive Office Utilization Reports based on the data sets currently provided by our Workplace & Security teams. Make adjustments to the hybrid policy & people related operations to ensure data is accurate and the criteria is clear & documented.
  • Future projects and programs will be added at the direction of the Head of Global Administrative Operations

We’re looking for someone with:

  • BA/BS and/or equivalent work experience required
  • 3+ years experience in Project, Operations, or Program Management related work
  • Highly proficient verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft 0365 or G-Suite
  • Highly proficient executive presentation skills
  • Experience working across global regions and time zones
  • Experience working directly with function leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Experience with Process Development, Change Management, Procurement Operations, or Business Operations
  • Experience with Business Continuity Planning preferred
  • Experience with PowerBI or general data analytics preferred
  • Experience with Project Management software preferred
  • Ability to initiate action and solve problems quickly
  • Ability to balance a large and diverse workload

What you’ll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $205,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
