Job Description

What you get to do in this role

• Design and develop scalable, reliable and maintainable software across the stack.
• Partner with product managers to translate requirements into well-architected solutions and own features end-to-end.
• Build intuitive, extensible experiences using modern UI frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Design and deliver new products and features while enhancing existing capabilities.
• Embed automated testing and quality practices across functional, integration, regression and performance testing.
• Participate in design and code reviews, championing engineering best practices, performance and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot complex systems, optimise performance and strengthen reliability, observability and production readiness.
• Share knowledge and best practices to foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you have:

• Experience in leveraging critical thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience delivering high-quality products.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, Java or similar object-oriented languages.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks, such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and design patterns.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using AI-powered tools or workflows, including validating datasets, model outputs or inference consistency.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimise performance across the stack.
• Familiarity with modern development tools, including IDEs, debuggers, profilers, source control and Unix-based systems.
• A demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking when using AI to improve workflows, decision-making and problem-solving.
