About the Role:
Reporting to the Chief of Staff for Global Workforce Skills and Talent Readiness, this role serves as a strategic partner in the Executive Office, driving execution on high-priority initiatives and ensuring organizational accountability across our most critical workstreams. As part of the Global Learning and Development (GLD) organization, you'll work at the intersection of strategy and execution, supporting our mission to pioneer AI skilling and talent readiness for 3 million learners worldwide. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, excels at executive-level communication, and can independently take problems from identification through to solution.

What You'll Do:
Strategic Project Execution
- Field and execute special projects from senior leadership - the complex, cross-functional work that doesn't have an obvious organizational home.
- This includes supporting ServiceNow University expansion efforts, strategic hiring and organizational restructuring, leadership offsite planning and follow-through, and executive-level initiatives that require immediate attention.
- Identify problems, develop solutions, and drive execution independently.
- Act as an extension of the Chief of Staff, anticipating needs and solving problems before they escalate.
- You'll serve as a force multiplier for the Executive Office, providing thought partnership to team members on complex workstreams and helping establish operating rhythms that increase overall impact.
Executive Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Develop executive-level presentations, decks, and briefing materials for key internal and external stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging around our AI-native learning positioning and strategic priorities.
- This includes supporting board meeting preparation, senior leadership engagements, and strategic external relationships.
- Manage critical stakeholder relationships and establish reporting cadences that demonstrate organizational value and impact, supporting our work with Fortune 500 companies and strategic partners.
OKR & Organizational Accountability
- Support Support the Chief of Staff in driving discipline and accountability for GLD's organizational objectives and key results by working with VP-level leaders and their teams to ensure consistent tracking, updates, and reporting.
- Help maintain organizational goal-setting rigor by surfacing risks and opportunities proactively, and partnering with leadership to improve execution across the organization.
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- 6-8+ years of experience in strategic roles such as chief of staff functions, management consulting, program management, or similar high-impact positions
- Strong executive presence - you can engage confidently with senior leaders, represent the Executive Office professionally, and navigate complex organizational dynamics with credibility
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level presentations and materials that translate complex strategy into clear, actionable frameworks
- Proven track record of managing complex, ambiguous projects from concept through completion independently
- Resourceful problem solver who sees around corners, proposes solutions, and executes
- Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and driving accountability without direct authority
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen who can quickly get up to speed on new topics, connect dots across the organization, and synthesize multi-threaded discussions into clear frameworks
Preferred:
- Experience with OKR frameworks or other goal management systems in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Background in executive engagement, learning and development, workforce transformation, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to influence and lead without formal authority
- Experience supporting leadership offsites, strategic planning processes, and organizational change initiatives
- Familiarity with board-level communications and executive reporting
JV22
For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $146,400 - $256,200, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
