Job Description

ServiceNow is actively seeking a Chief of Staff to join the Global Partner function within the Global Partnerships & Channels Organization (GPC). Reporting directly to the GVP of Global Partnerships, the Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner and force multiplier, driving operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and execution of high-impact initiatives across the global partnerships organization. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution—turning vision into action, aligning leaders around clear priorities, and ensuring we deliver on what matters most.

As Chief of Staff, you will act as a trusted advisor, thought partner, and operational backbone for the GVP and the broader partnerships leadership team. You will lead critical planning processes, drive strategic initiatives end-to-end, and serve as a connective tissue across the organization—bridging communication gaps, unblocking obstacles, and ensuring the right work happens at the right pace.

This role is ideal for a strategic operator who thrives in ambiguity, excels at building relationships across all levels, and possesses the executive presence to represent leadership in high-stakes situations. A combination of exceptional analytical skills, operational rigor, strong communication abilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset will be critical for success.

Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership & Advisory

· Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the GVP of Global Partnerships, providing objective analysis, insights, and recommendations on strategic and tactical matters

· Proactively identify opportunities to increase the GVP's leverage and effectiveness; anticipate needs, surface blind spots, and help prioritize competing demands

· Represent the GVP in meetings, communications, and cross-functional engagements as appropriate; act as delegate and proxy when needed

· Prepare the GVP and leadership team for critical meetings, board presentations, and executive engagements with comprehensive briefing materials and talking points

Operational Excellence & Rhythm of Business

· Drive the operating model and rhythm of business for the Global Partnerships function, including annual planning, internal QBRs processes, partner QBRs, and business governance cadences

· Own the execution of strategic planning cycles—long-range planning, annual planning, and budget allocation—ensuring alignment across partner GTM motions and geographies

· Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics; develop dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into organizational health and progress against goals

· Lead resource planning, headcount management, and cost assessment in partnership with Finance and HR

Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution

· Drive cross-functional initiatives from conception through execution, partnering with Ops, Marketing, IT, Partner Excellence Group, Geo Alliances, Sales and other teams to achieve shared objectives

· Be tightly connected with other Chief of Staff’s in the organization to help with elite level execution of cross-functional initiatives

· Lead special projects and strategic initiatives that span organizational boundaries, ensuring clear ownership, milestones, and accountability

· Act as the central hub for internal communications, ensuring clarity and alignment across the partnerships organization and with key stakeholders

· Facilitate effective decision-making by synthesizing disparate inputs, identifying critical insights, and driving toward actionable recommendations

Organizational Development & Culture

· Partner with HR and leadership on organizational design, talent strategy, and workforce planning to support the scaling of the partnerships function

· Foster alignment and connectivity across distributed teams; ensure company priorities cascade into clear plans and execution across regions

· Champion culture and values; support team engagement, morale, and professional development initiatives

· Coordinate and support hiring efforts to attract top talent and ensure the organization meets its growth objectives

Qualifications

· 8+ years of progressive experience in management consulting, strategy & operations, business operations, or chief of staff roles, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or technology company

· Experience in partnerships, alliances, channels, or business development environments strongly preferred; understanding of partner ecosystems and go-to-market motions is a significant plus

· MBA from a top-tier program preferred, or equivalent experience

· Demonstrated ability to operate as a strategic thought partner to senior executives while also rolling up sleeves to drive execution

· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesize complex information, and develop data-driven recommendations

· Strong program management skills with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives end-to-end and delivering results

· Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change

· High degree of emotional intelligence, discretion, and judgment; ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

· Executive presence and the ability to build trust, credibility, and strong relationships across the organization

· Self-starter with an ownership mentality and entrepreneurial drive; proactive in identifying opportunities and driving solutions

· Experience with SaaS business models, metrics, and industry dynamics preferred

· Proficiency with business tools (e.g. Dynamics, Microsoft Office, Tableau/BI tools)
