Overview
As a Solution Consultant for the Singapore Public Sector, you will play a pivotal role in helping government agencies and statutory boards transform citizen services and operational efficiency through innovative CRM solutions. You will partner with Sales, Product Management, and Executive Leadership to deliver technical expertise and strategic guidance throughout the sales cycle. This role requires a deep understanding of Singapore’s public sector priorities, compliance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.
What You’ll Do
As a Public Sector Solution Consultant, you will leverage your technical and domain expertise to develop, position, and deliver product-specific solutions during sales engagements, while supporting quarterly and annual sales objectives for your territory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with Sales as a trusted technical advisor and domain expert to support CRM solution sales for government agencies and statutory boards.
- Lead discovery workshops tailored to public sector needs, uncovering challenges such as citizen engagement, service delivery, and compliance with Singapore Government Digital Services (SGDS) standards.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that showcase how our solutions align with Smart Nation initiatives, Whole-of-Government (WOG) strategies, and GovTech frameworks.
- Respond to technical and product-related inquiries from public sector customers, partners, and internal teams, ensuring alignment with IMDA and PDPA compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Management to provide feedback on enhancements that address unique public sector needs, such as data sovereignty, security, and accessibility.
- Share best practices and reusable assets with peers to improve team efficiency and effectiveness in government-focused engagements.
- Stay informed on competitive landscape and regulatory changes, including GovTech procurement guidelines and ICT standards.
- Represent the company at public sector events, including government forums, GovTech conferences, and industry trade shows.
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should bring:
- CRM Expertise: Deep hands-on experience in CRM and customer experience, with strong knowledge of service, sales, lead, and opportunity management.
- AI Integration Mindset: Ability to leverage or critically evaluate AI in workflows, decision-making, and problem-solving within CRM contexts for government use cases.
- Public Sector Experience: Proven track record engaging with Singapore government agencies, statutory boards, or GovTech projects.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with PDPA, IMDA guidelines, and GovTech ICT standards.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language for senior government stakeholders.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Innovative thinker with a focus on process improvement and delivering citizen-centric value.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional, global teams.
- Experience:
- 7+ years in pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow or similar cloud-based platforms.
- Experience working with Product Management, Marketing, Partners, and Professional Services.
- Territory Management: Skilled in pipeline building and partnering with Sales to drive execution excellence.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed.
