Job Description

Digital Technology

We’re not yesterday’s IT department, we're Digital Technology. The world around us keeps changing and so do we. We’re redefining what it means to be IT with a mindset centered on transformation, experience, AI-driven automation, innovation, and growth. We’re all about delivering delightful, secure customer and employee experiences that accelerate ServiceNow’s journey to become the defining enterprise software company of the 21st century. And we love co-creating, using, and highlighting our own products to do it.

Ultimately, we strive to make the world work better for our employees and customers—when you work in ServiceNow Digital Technology, you work for them.

The Role

As an ITAM Data & Technology Lifecycle Management Lead, this role involves managing technology refresh cycles globally, optimizing costs, maintaining compliance, and supporting business continuity through strategic asset planning. You will be responsible for understanding data and turning it into information that can offer ways to improve business processes and outcomes. You will gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends, such as computer refresh planning/EOL interpretations and comparative software products in use, to help identify cost-saving and/or time-saving opportunities. Once data has been gathered and interpreted, you will report back on what has been found in a comprehensive report to the relevant stakeholders.

In addition, this includes maintaining the software and hardware process portfolio throughout its life cycle, from acquisition through final disposition. You will ensure compliance, manage software renewals, handle lifecycle planning and processes, optimize costs, and work with partners to ensure timely delivery of software and hardware assets and perform quarterly business reviews for local suppliers.

What you will do

You will track and manage IT assets from acquisition to retirement for the U.S. and LATAM. You will develop and maintain lifecycle plans for hardware and software globally. Additionally, you will coordinate global technology refresh schedules to minimize risk and downtime. Working with Sourcing, you will ensure vendor software and hardware pricing is negotiated to optimize spending and collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and renewal of IT assets.

You will ensure that IT assets comply with industry regulations, security policies, and software licensing agreements. Mitigating risks associated with outdated or unsupported technologies is also part of your responsibilities. You will maintain accurate records for audits and compliance reporting and develop cost forecasts and budgets for IT hardware and software refreshes. Optimizing software licensing to prevent overuse or underutilization will be a priority.

You will work with IT stakeholders, finance, and procurement teams to align technology investments with business needs and generate reports on asset performance, lifecycle status, and cost interpretations. Furthermore, you will provide data insights, including ESG, to support Digital Technology strategy and outcomes. You will be responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders to effectively manage and maintain the data integrity and completeness of the IT asset inventories (Hardware and Software Databases), guiding the mitigation of any data exceptions globally.

As a liaison between the development and operations teams, you will communicate changes and anticipated issues in the production environment for asset management. You will participate in defining requirements, processes, procedures, and automation opportunities for asset acquisition, management, and disposal strategies for the enterprise. Additionally, you will examine maintenance, support, and license renewals well in advance of their expiration and report and compare software installations versus software licenses.

Finally, you will coordinate with enterprise procurement and accounting areas, as well as vendors, on ordering, receiving, and invoicing IT assets. You will also provide support to Digital Technology stakeholders and legal teams in the contract management areas of RFI/RFP, vendor selection, and contract administration for assets.
