Job Description
Role:
We are currently looking for a seasoned Product Manager for our Automation Engine business. Automation Engine is part of the underlying platform technology and includes Integration Hub, our over 175 Spokes, and our new RPA Hub capability. As part of the ServiceNow Automation Engine team, you will lead key aspects of the integration portfolio working with Design, Engineering, and other PM leaders to define and build the capabilities to power the next generation of the ServiceNow platform.
We're looking for an individual who wants to apply disruptive thinking to the way people view Integrations and replace manual and disconnected business processed through the ServiceNow. You will evaluate how the solutions in Automation Engine can be used to increase workplace productivity for all our customers. You will lead by introducing innovative ways to simplify integrations for citizen developers and thus enabling hyperautomation experiences on the ServiceNow platform while improving the daily lives of millions of our users.
What you get to do in this role:
- The Product Manager will be involved in product strategy and inbound product management for the low-code integration portfolio. You will also work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Design, Outbound Product Management, Support, and Training.
- Set the strategy of key Integration Hub product areas to evangelize low-code integration
- Determine low-code / no-code process automation features and capabilities required to unlock customer and business use cases
- Define and own execution of the short and long-term roadmap
- Provide subject matter expertise and perspective on ServiceNow’s unique differentiators against other Automation and iPaaS solutions
- Develop a content strategy for Integrations, enabling us to lead with prebuilt integration content
- Collaborate with ServiceNow business units (IT, employee, customer, etc.) on leveraging Automation Engine as part of their offerings
- Engage stakeholders on necessary inputs for product strategy & roadmap, get buy-in, manage communications, expectations and dependencies
- Validate and refine product designs/early product offerings through Design Partner Program, Product Advisory Council and with other customers directly
- Be a visible product expert, sharing best practices both internally and with customers
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Field enablement, Sales and User Learning to produce go-to-market materials
- Communicate complex problems into easily understood requirements and provide solutions
- Develop multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the needs of different audiences
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 4+ years of software product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS environments.
- Strong prioritization skills and the discipline to focus on high impact activities
- Experience defining and capturing product requirements and transforming them into a product roadmap
- Deep curiosity about customer needs, along with building customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
