Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated, creative, and experienced Vice President of Company Messaging to join our marketing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for creating, evangelizing, and managing the company’s messaging / positioning across all marketing programs. You’ll be a trusted advisor to the company and its most senior leaders as we grow and evolve our company. And you’ll be a strategic leader in our highest-profile events, customer relationships, and marketing campaigns.

The Vice President of Company Messaging leads a team of creators and technologists focused on ensuring ServiceNow is leading the industry conversation and putting AI to work for people.


  • Lead, motivate, grow, and develop a team of world-class marketers
  • Drive crystal-clear and highly differentiated messaging and digital experiences on servicenow.com
  • Show a deeply credible understanding of our product strategy and differentiation
  • Create industry-leading presentations and demos that clearly communicate the full power of the ServiceNow Platform
  • Partner with Sales leadership on select strategic accounts, helping craft transformational narratives and product storytelling that drives the business forward
  • Work with Product and Solutions Marketing to align product around a common company narrative and value proposition
  • Partner closely with Corporate Communications to align company narrative and jointly drive consistent messaging across our paid, earned, shared and owned channels
  • Work closely with Brand Marketing to elevate key campaigns and thought leadership content
  • Have a deep understanding of marketing best practices


  • 15+ years of marketing / product marketing experience
  • Very strong written and public communication skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience presenting to senior executives
  • Intimate understanding of the latest trends in B2B marketing

For positions in New York City, we offer a base pay of $248,100 - $421,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
