Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

System Engineering and Architecture:

Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient system architectures, integrating Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) principles. Ensure systems align with business objectives, focusing on efficiency, security, and reliability.

SASE Implementation and Management:

Lead the implementation and administration of SASE solutions, encompassing Secure Web Gateways (SWG), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), and Firewall as a Service (FWaaS) elements.

Automation and Monitoring:

Identifying monitoring gaps and coming up with automation solutions for better day to day monitoring and operations. Develop scripts /workflow to enhance operational efficiency .

Security Audit and Compliance:

Conduct thorough security audits, assess system vulnerabilities, and identify non-compliance issues with regulatory standards and internal policies. Develop and execute remediation plans to address audit findings effectively.

Incident Response and Threat Mitigation:

Proactively monitor systems for potential threats, swiftly responding to security incidents. Investigate security breaches, analyze root causes, and implement measures to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.

Vulnerability Assessment and Remediation:

Perform comprehensive vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and risk analyses. Develop and execute strategies to remediate vulnerabilities and enhance security posture across systems and networks.

Policy Development and Documentation:

Develop, refine, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures. Document audit findings, remediation actions, and security measures for compliance and reference purposes.

Adoption of Emerging Technologies:

Stay updated with emerging security trends, tools, and technologies. Quickly adapt and apply new tools, methodologies, and best practices to fortify security measures and address evolving threats effectively.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 6+ years of Experience: Extensive experience in system engineering, SASE implementation, security, and audit remediation roles, showcasing a robust understanding of security frameworks, methodologies, and technologies.
  • SASE Expertise: Proficiency in implementing and managing SASE components such as SWG, ZTNA, CASB, FWaaS, and integrating them within comprehensive security strategies.
  • Audit Remediation Skills: Demonstrated ability to conduct security audits, identify vulnerabilities, and remediate non-compliance issues effectively, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of system engineering principles, network protocols, cloud security, encryption technologies, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Monitoring Tools And Automation: Experience in monitoring tools like Logic Monitor/ Solarwinds and SIEM tools like Splunk/ELK/Q-Radar. Experiance in scripting languages like python/PowerShell and automation frameworks Ansible/Jenkins.
  • Adaptability and Quick Learning: Proven track record of swiftly learning and implementing new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance security posture and address emerging threats.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CCSK, CISSP, SASE Practitioner, CISA, or vendor-specific certifications from leading SASE providers would be advantageous.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills with the ability to
