The Cloud Account Executive – Platform & Trusted Services creates, identifies, and closes sales for Salesforce's Platform and Security portfolio within an assigned SMB/General Business territory. This includes Low Code AppDev, Integration, Automation, Security & Compliance (Shield, Platform Encryption, Event Monitoring), and Data Management solutions. This person must be a high-velocity, self-starting closer who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages a large number of accounts, and can quickly articulate business value to time-pressed decision makers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Generate revenue and achieve individual quota by identifying, developing, and closing Platform & Trusted Services opportunities across a high-volume SMB/GB territory

  • Build and maintain relationships with key business and technical stakeholders within small and medium-sized businesses

  • Partner with Core Account Executives to uncover Platform and Security whitespace across assigned accounts

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Salesforce Platform capabilities including Low Code AppDev, Integration, Automation, and Security & Compliance

  • Help SMB customers address compliance, governance, and data security needs by positioning Shield, Platform Encryption, Field Audit Trail, and Event Monitoring

  • Manage a high volume of opportunities simultaneously with strong pipeline hygiene and accurate forecasting in Salesforce CRM

  • Drive quick sales cycles with a consultative approach tailored to the priorities and resource constraints of SMB customers

  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers and Success teams to deliver efficient, value-driven proposals


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, preferably in SaaS, platform, or security/compliance solutions

  • Experience managing high-volume SMB or General Business territories with multiple concurrent opportunities

  • Ability to quickly communicate value to business owners, IT leads, and operations stakeholders in smaller organisations

  • Familiarity with cloud platform ecosystems, application development, and enterprise security & compliance concepts

  • Proven track record of quota attainment in a fast-paced, transactional sales environment

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and move quickly across a large account set
