About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

About the Role

The Marketing Cloud Content Experience team is looking for a Technical Writing Analyst who's energized by the challenge of making complex technology clear, useful, and human. In this role, you'll shape the content that customers, admins, and developers rely on every day — from the words they read inside the product to the guides that help them build on it. Your work will directly influence how people experience and succeed with Marketing Cloud.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Author UI text, in-app help, and user-facing documentation for Marketing Cloud products
  • Write clear, accurate release notes and developer documentation that keep teams informed and unblocked
  • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and UX designers throughout the Agile product development cycle
  • Leverage AI-assisted writing tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini) to streamline content workflows and deliver at scale
  • Balance multiple deliverables across product areas, consistently meeting quality and timing expectations
  • Build strong working relationships across cross-functional teams to gather, validate, and communicate technical information
  • Continuously improve content based on user feedback, product changes, and evolving best practices

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience documenting software for technical audiences
  • Demonstrated experience writing UI text, in-app help content, release notes, and developer documentation
  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted writing tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Gemini
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex technologies quickly and independently
  • Excellent writing and editing skills — clear, concise, and accessible across different audience types
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-moving product environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across engineering, product, and design
  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with docs-as-code workflows, version control (Git), or developer tooling
  • Familiarity with DITA, structured authoring, or content management systems
  • Background in marketing technology, CRM, or SaaS platforms
  • Experience working on internationalized or localized content

What's in It for You

You'll join a team that believes great content is a product feature — and that technical writers are builders, not just editors. You'll have the opportunity to grow your craft alongside talented engineers and designers, work with cutting-edge AI tools, and see your work make a real difference for hundreds of thousands of Marketing Cloud users worldwide.
