About the Role
This is a key leadership role supporting our ES COO & EVP, Global Rewards within our Employee Success (HR) organization. This pivotal role will partner closely with our ES COO & EVP, Global Rewards, Employee Success and business leaders on top strategic projects for Employee Success. Acting as a force multiplier, trusted advisor, and chief of staff, this role will drive clarity, alignment, and execution across the Global Total Rewards / COO leadership team which include ES Operations, HR Technology/ES AI Strategy, Workforce Intelligence, our operating model and beyond. This role ensures vision translates into outcomes by managing priorities, leading through influence, and orchestrating strategic initiatives that touch every corner of our organization. A successful candidate will be adept and breaking silos, complex stakeholder management, preparing executive presentations and briefings, clear communication, organization, and measuring success. This is a highly influential and impactful role supporting the largest technology and HR transformation of our time – human and agent collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as trusted advisor and Chief of Staff to the ES COO & EVP, Global Rewards to drive their critical priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Act as a liaison and connector across ES leadership team and business stakeholders to accelerate decisions, remove siloes, and streamline operations
  • Collaborate with the ES COO & EVP, Global Rewards to prioritize, operationalize, and measure the success of business priorities
  • Drive strategic oversight to Global ES initiatives that are critical company priorities
  • Anticipate needs, surface issues early, and recommend solutions to keep focused on highest-value priorities
  • In partnership with Finance and other CPO Directs help manage the Global ES and Global COO budgets and investment strategy
  • Develop multi-year strategic roadmap with specific actions needed to achieve goals across the function
  • Support executive and board level briefings on critical business decisions and updates
  • Proactively identify challenges and opportunities requiring executive engagement and coordinate and track key milestones for the strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and manage the content and logistics for key meetings such offsites, QBRs, customer meetings, board, and more.
  • Partner with workforce intelligence team to identify trends, opportunities, and enhance storytelling
  • Collaborate with the EVP, Total Rewards & ES Ops’ executive assistant to ensure efficient scheduling and preparation for project milestones, upcoming meetings and events
  • Act as a connector and proxy for the ES COO & EVP, Global Rewards in meetings, ensuring their perspective and priorities are represented.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 10+ years of leadership experience with a background in management consulting, Chief of Staff capacity, program management, operations, and/or HR
  • Expertise and experience in HR, Talent Management, and Technology. Understanding of AI and HR intersection a plus
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • HRBP experience or an strong understanding of HR is preferred
  • Highly skilled in cross functional senior stakeholder management and cross functional team management
  • Demonstrated ability working in a highly matrixed and fast paced organization and delivering high impact results
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to earn trust and credibility quickly
  • Strong ability to manage multiple deliverables and highly proficient prioritization skills. Exceptional organization skills.
  • Adept at executive and board level briefing materials
  • Ability to handle confidential information with a high level of professionalism and discretion
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well-informed decisions
  • Data-driven and detail oriented – skilled at analytics and storytelling through data

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions.

The typical base salary range for this position is $181,700 - $304,700 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $218,100 - $332,600 annually.

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
