About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

The Business Analyst is the analytical engine and operational backbone of the Global Delivery Governance team — the person who turns data into direction and ambiguity into answers. This is a net-new, entry-level individual contributor role embedded in one of the most strategically important functions in Professional Services: the team that owns the delivery standards, frameworks, and governance logic for PS globally.

This is not a traditional reporting analyst role. This is a high-output, insight-generating position on a team that is actively building its operating model — which means the work is dynamic, the priorities evolve, and no two weeks look the same. You won't always have a defined workflow to follow. You'll need to ask good questions, figure things out, and stay organized even when the environment around you is shifting. If that sounds like a challenge you're excited by, you're in the right place.

You will dig into delivery data, surface the signals that matter, and ensure every initiative this team pursues is grounded in evidence — not assumption.

The What

The work we do that delivers impact & drives business outcomes.

This role drives the analytical and operational rigor that allows the Global Delivery Governance team to move fast, make defensible decisions, and demonstrate value to stakeholders at every level. The primary impact is realized through:

  • Deliver Actionable Portfolio Insights: Own the analysis of delivery portfolio data — pulling from Org62, Services Org, and Smartsheet — to surface risk signals, health trends, and compliance patterns. You will produce regular data-driven reports that help leadership see what's happening before it becomes a problem, and begin to standardize the definitions of risk across our portfolio.

  • Support the Business Value Rubric: Partner with initiative owners to score roadmap items against the Business Value Rubric. You will gather data, model impact scenarios, and help the team make the case — internally and to leadership — for where to invest next.

  • Enable the Risk Accountability Protocol: Help create the requirements for mechanisms that ensure 100% of Red/Amber risks are actioned within 48 hours. You will help define the requirements for the agentic monitoring of compliance, identification patterns in risk escalation, and contribute to the development of the Risk Early Warning System.

  • Support Requirements Development: Work alongside the team to gather, structure, and validate business requirements for tooling and automation initiatives. You will translate stakeholder input into structured documentation that build partners can act on.

  • Manage Intake & Roadmap Operations: Support the triaging of the team's intake process — tracking submissions, scoring criteria, and roadmap status. You will help keep the Living Roadmap current and the team's commitments visible to stakeholders.

  • Synthesize Voice of the Field: Gather, organize, and analyze input from Geo leads, delivery practitioners, and cross-functional partners. You will identify patterns in field feedback and surface the insights that shape process and methodology decisions.

The How

The critical skills and behaviors that enable high performance.

Success in this role is built on intellectual curiosity, operational precision, and the ability to make complexity accessible to decision-makers. You will bring a rigorous, evidence-first mindset to a team that prizes speed, clarity, and measurable impact.

  • Turn Data Into Direction: You don't just produce reports — you ask the next question. You understand what data is trying to tell you, or use the tools to help you dig into the stories the data is telling, proactively surface the implications, and translate findings into clear recommendations for action.

  • Operate with Precision: Your work product is clean, accurate, and traceable. Whether you're building a tracking dashboard, writing up a requirements summary, or synthesizing field feedback, the output is reliable enough that others make decisions based on it.

  • Prioritize Ruthlessly: This team scores everything against business value. You will do the same — and you will help others do it too. You don't pursue analysis for its own sake; you pursue it because it will unblock a decision or de-risk an initiative.

  • Communicate Up and Across: Your audience ranges from Geo leads to SLT. You know how to calibrate the level of detail, the framing, and the format to land the insight with the right person. You write clearly and concisely, and your visuals are as sharp as your logic.

  • Embrace AI-Assisted Work: This team builds with Claude, Cursor, and Agentforce. You will use AI tools to accelerate your analysis, draft requirements, and synthesize large volumes of input — and you'll bring ideas for how to do it smarter.

  • Hold the Thread: On a team running multiple parallel initiatives, you will be the person who tracks the details others are too busy to track. You close loops, flag when things are drifting, and keep the operational engine running without being asked.

  • Stay Steady When Things Shift: This team is transforming while it operates, which means priorities change, processes evolve, and the work you started last month may look different next month. You don't need everything to be perfectly defined to move forward — you ask good questions, adapt quickly, and keep your head when the path isn't fully clear.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze delivery portfolio data across our tooling to surface risk and health signals

  • Support the development of business requirements for the next generation of risk management tooling

  • Contribute to the Business Value Rubric scoring process for all roadmap initiatives

  • Support business requirements development by gathering and structuring stakeholder input for build partner handoffs

  • Manage intake operations: track submissions, scoring, and roadmap status; maintain the Living Roadmap

  • Produce regular data-driven reports for team leadership and the Field Advisory Board

  • Synthesize Voice of the Field input from Geo leads and delivery practitioners into actionable insights

  • Identify patterns in delivery and risk data that indicate process breakdown or governance gaps

  • Support development of the the next gen of risk management tooling by documenting leading indicator hypotheses

  • Assist with quarterly Field Advisory Board preparation, including data packages and progress reporting

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0–2 years of professional experience in business analysis, operations, data analytics, project coordination, or a related field — we're open to candidates earlier in their career who bring the right foundation and mindset

  • Analytical aptitude with the ability to gather, organize, and interpret data and translate findings into clear takeaways; experience with spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets), project tracking tools (Smartsheet, Jira, Asana), or Salesforce a plus

  • Strong written communication skills — you can take something complex and make it clear, and you know your audience

  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized and self-directed in an environment where not everything is defined for you; you figure things out, ask questions when stuck, and don't wait to be managed

  • Natural curiosity and a willingness to learn: this team moves fast, uses AI tools, and is constantly evolving — you need to be excited by that, not intimidated by it

  • Comfort with or genuine openness to AI-assisted work tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Agentforce

  • Collaborative and reliable — you do what you say you'll do, you flag problems early, and you make the people around you more effective

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on Values & Behaviors for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

  • High-velocity learner with genuine enthusiasm for operating in an environment that is building itself in real time
