We are seeking a Senior Program Architect with strong Salesforce platform expertise and deep healthcare domain experience to join our team in ANZ. This is a strategic leadership role delivering large-scale digital transformation programs for some of the region’s most significant healthcare and public sector organizations.
Salesforce Professional Services delivers transformational engagements by combining deep industry knowledge with technical expertise. Our Health & Life Sciences (HLS) team in ANZ focuses on driving value for providers across public health, aged care, mental health, community services, and human services organizations. Our work transforms care experiences, strengthens clinical safety, and enables better access and equity.
You will act as a trusted technical and strategic advisor, partnering with healthcare providers to translate business, clinical, and operational requirements into scalable Salesforce-based solution architectures and delivery roadmaps. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of healthcare industry knowledge, enterprise architecture capability, and hands-on Salesforce delivery experience across complex multi-cloud programs.
This role requires strong experience across the Salesforce ecosystem, including Salesforce Health Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, OmniStudio, MuleSoft, Data Cloud, and Salesforce platform architecture patterns. Salesforce certifications are mandatory for this role.
You will lead architecture governance, integration strategy, security and compliance design, and program-level solution oversight while guiding delivery teams across Salesforce, customer, and partner ecosystems.
Your Impact
- Serve as the lead architect for complex healthcare and public sector transformation initiatives built on the Salesforce platform.
- Engage directly with executive stakeholders including CIOs, CMOs, digital health leaders, and operational executives to define strategic transformation roadmaps.
- Translate clinical workflows, patient journeys, and regulatory requirements into scalable Salesforce solution architectures.
- Lead architecture decisions across Salesforce Health Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, OmniStudio, MuleSoft integrations, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Guide delivery teams (Salesforce, Partners, Customer teams) through technical strategy, solution validation, architecture governance, and program execution.
- Ensure alignment to compliance, privacy, and interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7, ISO27001, My Health Record, Medicare, Support at Home, and NDIS requirements.
- Drive best practices across security, integration architecture, data governance, scalability, and enterprise design patterns.
- Contribute to the growth of the Health & Life Sciences practice through mentoring, reusable assets, innovation initiatives, and thought leadership.
- Support strategic pre-sales engagements, architecture workshops, estimations, and healthcare transformation proposals when required.
Basic Requirements
- 8+ years of experience delivering enterprise Salesforce solutions within healthcare, aged care, mental health, community services, or public sector environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce platform architecture and delivery across multiple clouds and enterprise programs.
- Proven experience with Salesforce Health Cloud and/or Public Sector Solutions implementations.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture principles including integrations, security, interoperability, data models, DevOps, and enterprise scalability.
- Experience leading multi-stakeholder transformation programs across clinical, operational, and technical domains.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows including referrals, intake, care coordination, discharge planning, service delivery, and funding models.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise healthcare systems such as EMRs, PAS, HIEs, or third-party clinical systems.
- Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage confidently with C-level executives and frontline leaders.
- Ability and willingness to travel across ANZ based on customer and program needs.
Mandatory Salesforce Certifications
Candidates must hold multiple Salesforce certifications, including some of the following:
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect and/or System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Health Cloud Accredited Professional
- Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Consultant and/or Developer
- Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Integration Architect (preferred)
- Salesforce Certified Data Architect (preferred)
- Salesforce Certified AI Associate / AI Specialist (preferred)
Preferred Requirements
- Experience delivering healthcare transformation programs using Salesforce.
- Strong experience with MuleSoft integration architecture and API-led connectivity.
- Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, and AI-driven healthcare solutions.
- Exposure to EMR, CRM, HIE, PAS, population health, or care management platforms.
- Certifications or experience in TOGAF, Scaled Agile, SAFe, or enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards and regulatory frameworks within ANZ healthcare ecosystems.
- Experience working within consulting, system integrator, or enterprise transformation environments.
