Job Description
Programs & Operations is a critical function within the Global Solutions Center of Excellence, enabling the Solutions Organization to evolve talent, deliver an AI-enabled Solutions Toolkit, drive alignment across OUs and cross-functional partners (Product, Marketing, Enablement), and accelerate Salesforce’s path to $60B.
The Director of Programs & Operations for Solutions Center of Excellence leads the operating rhythm, program governance, communications infrastructure, and execution required to ensure the global Solutions organization operates efficiently and scales effectively. Responsibilities span four key areas: internal operations, external operations, V2MOM method & workstream ownership, and special projects.
The role partners closely with Solutions Executives and cross-functional leaders globally to drive solutions projects, regularly brief executives, align stakeholders worldwide, navigate a complex matrix environment, and build strong relationships across Product, Sales, Solutions, Marketing, Sales Strategy, Enablement, and Business Technology.
The scope of this role spans across these key functions:
Internal Operations: Support the planning, logistics, communication, and execution of internal CoE team meetings and initiatives.
External Operations: Support planning and execution for external stakeholder engagements, including agenda development, speaker coordination, communications, and follow-up for councils, communities, and other forums.
V2MOM Method & Workstream Ownership: Own key Solutions CoE V2MOM workstream methods and drive workstream governance, operating cadences, stakeholder management, and progress tracking for assigned workstreams.
Special Projects: Support high-impact, cross-functional initiatives such as global enablement surges and global strategic events. Manage executive-level preparation and coordination to accelerate planning and execution.
Skills/Expertise Required:
Demonstrable program management track record, having led cross-functional strategic initiatives sponsored by senior leadership
Proven working experience as a project/program manager
Strong networking, relationship-building and communication skills and ability to successfully partner with all functions across the entire company
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and quantitative approach to solving problems
Strong organizational ability, experience in planning and managing a systematic approach, managing multiple projects and ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as scope and timelines change
Excellent presentation and stakeholder engagement skills
Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and resourceful
Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects

The typical base salary range for this position is $171,200 - $273,000 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $205,800 - $298,400 annually.

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
