We are seeking a highly accomplished technologist to join our Forward Deployed Engineering Team as Manager, Forward Deployed Engineer . This role represents the pinnacle of AI technical expertise, focusing on architecting, designing, and building the most complex and sophisticated agentic systems to solve our customers' most difficult challenges. You will be the technical conscience and thought leader, translating ambiguous customer needs into concrete, executable AI solutions.

You will drive transformative AI solutions by tackling the technical frontier of intelligent automation. You will build first of their kind best in class experiences for the world’s biggest brands - including headless agent automations, dynamic AI driven custom user interfaces, and complex multi-agent solutions. This demands unparalleled software development mastery, deep software architecture skills, and a relentless focus on implementing engineering best practices to deliver maximum tangible value in dynamic, real-world enterprise environments. This isn't just about coding; it's about deeply understanding our customers' most complex problems, architecting sophisticated solutions, and leading the end-to-end technical delivery of innovative, impactful solutions that leverage our Agentforce platform and beyond.

Your Impact

  • Define Agentic Architecture: Design, architect, and hands-on develop the most difficult and bespoke agentic AI solutions that leverage the full power of the Agentforce platform and integrate with complex enterprise systems to solve critical customer challenges.

  • Build and Deploy Agent Systems: Apply extensive hands-on experience to integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and expertly utilize agent-building and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Agentforce, LangChain, LlamaIndex) to implement and deploy complex agent-based solutions.

  • Lead Engineering Best Practices: Master our development process, culture, and code base, then define, improve, and enforce engineering best practices for code quality, scalability, and security across all deployed agentic solutions.

  • Drive Platform Customization: Utilize significant direct experience with the Salesforce platform to perform advanced configuration, customization, and complex development necessary to support and integrate agentic solutions.

  • Develop Data & Integration Solutions: Design strategic data models and build efficient processing pipelines to ensure data is ready, optimized, and secure for advanced AI applications.

  • Proactively Remove Technical Blockers: Identify, analyze, and directly resolve the most complex technical challenges during all phases of solution delivery, serving as the ultimate go-to expert for advanced agent orchestration and intricate data integration issues.

  • Drive Agentforce Innovation: Become the foremost expert in our innovative Agentforce platform, leading the development of custom intelligent agents and influencing future product enhancements based on deep field insights.

  • Undertake Continuous Learning: Maintain expertise in the latest AI advancements, both within the company and the wider industry, and proactively seek opportunities to integrate this knowledge for product and process innovation.

Required Skills/Responsibilities

  • 9 + years of experience in enterprise software engineering, architecture, or technology consulting.

  • 3 + years of experience managing engineers, architects, or technical consulting teams.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical architecture, solution blueprints, and phased implementation roadmaps.

  • Architect multi-cloud Salesforce implementations spanning Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and industry solutions.

  • Design robust data models, object relationships, and enterprise data structures to support scalability, reporting, and governance.

  • Define automation strategy leveraging Flow, Apex, approval frameworks, and orchestration aligned to business processes.

  • Architect secure sharing and visibility using role hierarchy, OWD, sharing rules, and Shield patterns when required.

  • Design and govern enterprise integration architectures using REST/SOAP, middleware, and event-driven patterns; integrate Salesforce with ERP/Finance/CPQ/Marketing Automation/data platforms.

  • Define identity and access strategy using SSO, OAuth, SAML, and enterprise security standards.

  • Architect large data volume (LDV) solutions including indexing, archiving, performance tuning, and governor-limit-aware patterns.

  • Establish enterprise data governance: data quality, enrichment, privacy, retention, and compliance.

  • Define custom development strategy using Apex, LWC, APIs; lead code reviews and enforce patterns, reusability, and best practices.

  • Establish DevOps and release frameworks using Salesforce DX, CI/CD pipelines, Git/version control, environment strategy, and release governance.

  • Lead architecture risk assessments, performance impact analysis, and serve as escalation authority for complex issues.

  • Lead Architecture Review Boards and provide design approvals for enterprise initiatives.

  • Facilitate discovery workshops, solution envisioning sessions, and technical design reviews with customer stakeholders.

  • Agentforce delivery: Experience in at least 2 end-to-end Agentforce projects with involvement in discovery, solution design, implementation, rollout, and defining the customer roadmap for enhancements.

  • Hands-on working knowledge across Agentforce capabilities including: Agent development, Agent security / access controls, guardrails ,Deployment & environment strategy, testing approach

  • Expertise supporting agent deployment, testing, and release management, including functional testing, grounding validation, and regression testing across environments.

  • Expertise in troubleshooting agent behaviors including hallucinations, grounding gaps, orchestration failures, and integration errors.

  • Experience with monitoring agent performance, refining prompts, and optimizing response quality based on user feedback and usage analytics.

  • Strong stakeholder communication skills with ability to present architecture and trade-offs to senior technical and business audiences.

  • Strong problem-solving skills including troubleshooting complex multi-system failures and driving RCA.

Certifications (Required):

  • Salesforce Agentforce Specialist and Data Cloud Consultant

  • Agentforce Innovator Badge

  • Agentforce Legend Badge ( Preferred )

  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect (highly preferred).

  • Platform Developer II (preferred for architecture + code governance roles)
