As a Technical Architect, you will provide Informatica product expertise and data management knowledge to deliver the most architecturally efficient and cost-effective solution for our customers’ data management projects. You will work closely with the customers, other Informatica consultants and customer/partner resources, Sales, Global Customer Support and Product Management to ensure customers’ success and satisfaction with our products and services and contribute to their long-term loyalty. This position requires a highly skilled individual with Informatica MDM experience.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Informatica Platform
Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end states
Provide oversight and governance of Informatica projects
Follow and help define implementation standards and best practices. Lead technical reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed
Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of an Informatica implementation
Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role
Ability to understand a project and deep dive to debug issues
From time to time, the Technical Architect may be expected to take part in other pre-sales activities such as discovery and technical deep-dive sessions, Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development with prospects
Liaise with Informatica product teams to support client implementations
Travel to client sites for projects, estimated 50-75%
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
10+ years of deep-domain expertise in the data management lifecycle, with a specialized track record in architecting and deploying enterprise-scale Solutions using IDMC and Informatica MDM.

Architect and implement end-to-end Master Data Management solutions leveraging IDMC and MDM On-prem with expert-level skills in following:
Informatica MDM architecture, BPM design, Integration with upstream and downstream (batch and real time)
MDM Data modeling for at least 2 different data domains (like Insurance, Banking)
Experience in driving MDM workshop, MDM demo, and Estimation
Expertise in Informatica Entity 360 Model and Business Entities configuration.
Expertise in configuring Match Rule, Survivorship Rule, Validation, Cleanse Rule, Mapping and Message Queue etc.
Experience in Performance tuning and Match rule Tuning
Experience in Customization, user exits and external calls.
Experience or understanding in any major data quality tools (IDQ, AddressDoctor, etc)
Experience in integrating MDM with IDQ
Experience in application servers (WebLogic and/or WebSphere and/or JBoss)
Expert-level database skills in Oracle, MS SQL server and/or DB2/UDB.
Track record of accomplishment with handling customers and managing complex data management needs
Advanced skills in at least one of the allied Data Integration products i.e. Informatica Data Quality, Data Engineering Integration, Informatica Cloud Data Integration etc.
Strong client facing negotiation, communication, issue resolution and analytical skills
Active Informatica certifications or ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire
Additional skills preferred
Familiarity with Cloud hosted environments such as AWS, Azure etc.
Hands-on experience and intermediate scripting skills in Operating Systems (Windows, Unix and Linux)
Experience in automation using programming skills like Shell Scripting, Python, Java etc.
