Japan Impact Team is looking for an Employee Impact Program Administrator to champion our philanthropic vision across our JPKT hubs. This position will support and develop existing Employee Impact programs, along with helping to build sustainability and scalability. This position reports to the Tokyo-based Senior Director, Impact, and work as an international member of the global Employee Impact team.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Program Leadership

  • Regional Stewardship: Drive the strategy and execution of volunteer programming for 3,000+ employees across Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.

  • Global Integration: Localize global initiatives to ensure they resonate within the local cultural context while meeting global strategic goals.

  • Ambassador Management: Recruit and support Employee Impact Councils to scale impact across regional hubs.

2. Community & Equality Partnership

  • Nonprofit Ecosystem: Build and maintain high-impact relationships with nonprofit organizations and educational institutions across Japan.

  • Internal Collaboration: Partner with Equality Groups, Employee Success (HR), and Marketing to weave philanthropy into onboarding and major corporate events.

3. Operations & Data Excellence

  • Impact Reporting: Establish hub-based goals, manage dashboards, and elevate our data capture methods to reflect both business value and social impact.

  • Donation Operations: Manage employee impact giving / grant program in alignment with global teams, and drive awareness and adoption of these programs across the JPKT OU.

4. Communications & Advocacy

  • Storytelling: Partner with the PR and Internal Communications team to creatively promote social impact stories internally and externally.

  • Executive Presence: Act as a thought partner to senior leadership, providing regular updates on hub impact and regional engagement trends.


Requirements

  • Experience: 2–3+ years in employee engagement, or community involvement initiatives.

  • Sector Knowledge: Deep familiarity with the nonprofit or education sectors in Japan.

  • Bilingual Excellence: Native or near-native fluency in Japanese and professional fluency in English (written and verbal).

  • Project Mastery: Proven ability to manage complex projects with high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Adaptive Mindset: A proactive self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can balance competing priorities with a "can-do" attitude.


Preferred Skills

  • Multi-lingual: Proficiency in Korean or Mandarin (Taiwanese) is a significant advantage.

  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with the Salesforce Platform/technology, AI, and Google Workspace.

  • Executive Presence: Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
