Role Overview

This role will implement the design & update Workday FDM values to support business needs, factoring in FDM Governance alongside broader financial data ecosystems for FDM requests that come the team's way. He/She will be responsible for maintaining data models and data flows to quickly assess the impact of changes to the FDM across processes and organizational structures. The ideal candidate must be adept at collaborating with a wide range of finance stakeholders, technical and functional teams. This role is a vital part of the Finance Controllership organization. We partner with other Finance & DET Functions to design, implement and maintain Workday Dimensions for Enterprise stakeholders, as well External Reporting & Auditors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workday Transformation: Support Workday Transformation engagements, focused on Operating Model, and implementation using ERP and Decision Support technologies.

  • Process and Data Integrity: Drive the transformation of business processes, the Finance Operating Model, Technology, Data Integrity, Data Optimization, Data Lineage, and Security across FDM, Finance Accounting, and other dependent systems.

  • Data Structure & Reporting: Maintain a logic-driven data structure to enable various snapshots and accurate reporting of Financial Data.

  • Data Governance: Play a key role in maximizing the trustworthiness and usage of data across the Finance Controllership Organization

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify and implement opportunities for leveraging data to deliver robust business solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 5 years Experience managing and updating Workday Finance Accounting/Finance Data Model (FDM)

  • Detailed understanding of ERP Core system concepts and transactional lifecycles, including, but not limited to, Record to Report, Quote to Cash, and Procure to Pay.

  • Experience in ERP management within large and complex data environments.

  • Proficiency with collecting data requirements, data modeling, and data profiling tools and techniques.

  • Strong verbal, analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with modeling CRM data and Modern SaaS-based platforms and services preferred.

  • Certifications in Workday Financials, FDM, and Financial Accounting.
