We are seeking a risk management manager who can lead overall risk management activities including crisis management lead, privacy operations as well as digital enablement for Japan, South Korea and Taiwan. As a risk management manager, you are responsible for leading crisis management core team with collaborating with Physical Security, Go Center, Health and Safety, Employee Success, Real Estate Team and Global Security Team. you are also responsible for leading privacy operation providing the advice of how to appropriately manage personal data to internal business partners mainly including marketing and sales. Also, you will be responsible for responding to the internal incidents and inquiries related to privacy matters. You are responsible for digital enablement and data governance as well. You are expected to be a leader as a trusted advisor/consultant for any business partners in Japan, South Korea and Taiwan, and work closely with stakeholders. The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced and changing environment and be proactively collaborating with multiple business partners.


Responsibilities


Manage the following privacy operations
- Create and maintain local privacy guidelines and rules in alignment with the related global policies and standards
- Respond to and manage security and privacy incidents, including the notification to the related external authorities.
- Respond to inquiries from internal business partners as well as external individuals on our security and privacy operations, and recommend and participate in the improvement processes.
- Respond to the internal / external privacy related audits, that includes providing required evidence and getting interviews by auditors.
- Provide privacy and security training to internal business partners by collaborating with relevant business partners for Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
- Conduct third party assessment in terms of their security and privacy controls.
- Facilitate Japan Privacy & Security Committee activities.

Lead the Crisis Management Core Team.
- In the event of a disaster, work closely with the Go Center to implement necessary actions and provide guidance.
- Conduct regular risk management training.

Lead the digital enablement activities.
- Work with the global IT team to implement and operate local applications, such as business card management.


Required Qualifications


- More than 5 years of experience in privacy operations and risk management areas.
- Prior experience in leading or fully involved the crisis management committee.
- Prior experience in maintaining privacy program including incident response, -risk assessment, creating internal policies, and providing training.
- Ability to make effective proposals for necessary changes in privacy controls/activities, based on the changes in related laws and regulations, as well as the market needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholders at all levels and all functions of the organization.
- Fluent level in both spoken and written Japanese, and business level in both spoken and written English
- Strong sense of compliance / risk management.
