The C360 Apps & Industries Content team is a new and growing global team within the Salesforce product organization, and we create high-impact content across the funnel that fuels business growth. We’re looking for highly skilled and experienced content developers with a knack for writing marketing content that drives conversions and is optimized for organic search. Your responsibilities will include conducting thorough research on topics, generating ideas for new content types and formats, using effective language to create content, and finally publishing across mediums with a regular cadence ensuring the highest quality standards. If you’re familiar with producing online content, especially for the B2B SaaS world and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you’ll deliver quality content assets that appeal to our audiences, attract customers, boost awareness, and drive conversions and revenue generation.
This job requires someone who loves to communicate through content and can utilize a variety of media and formats to get the job done.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
You will
Create best-in-class search-optimized marketing content and technical product enablement content to support multiple Salesforce product lines collaborating closely with business leaders, product marketers, senior product and engineering stakeholders.
Research industry-related topics, and keep an eye on the content Salesforce’s competitors deliver.
Conduct keyword research and incorporate SEO guidelines while creating digital content.
Create reports and derive insights from data to optimize content strategy.
Create content assets such as technical blogs, long-form content, ebooks, whitepapers, videos, podcasts, technical learning modules, and many more technical content assets.
Conduct A/B testing with tools such as Optimizely or Google Optimize to test content effectiveness and improve conversion rates.
Proofread and edit content to maintain the highest standards of quality
Coordinate with marketing, design, and product and engineering teams to illustrate articles and content as needed.
Keep the customer journey in mind and write content that helps prospects move through the funnel.
Adhere to brand guidelines and consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
Update website content as needed.

EXPERIENCE
3-4 year sexperience working on a B2B SaaS content marketing and product enablement content team
Have a portfolio featuring a range of digital work on marketing and technical product content, preferably across formats
Evidence of working with multiple stakeholders (including senior product, marketing, and engineering), especially in a matrixed organization
REQUIRED SKILLS
Baseline knowledge of the SaaS, Salesforce platform, products, and passion for software and technology solutions.
Ability to understand and articulate technically complex product offerings and needs of the customers.
Ability to independently create new source content that is clear, technically accurate, delightful, and useful to Salesforce’s customers and prospects.
Ability to generate and execute innovative “breakout” ideas.
Proven skills with a wide variety of technical content authoring tools such as Google Workspace apps, GitHub, Articulate Rise, video editing software, and content formats such as documents and spreadsheets, images, PDFs, MP4s, and more.
Basic familiarity with HTML/CSS and Web Analytics.
Hands-on experience with video editing and image creation tools is a plus.
Ability to work independently to complete multiple projects in a fast-paced and nimble environment globally.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, exerting influence without direct authority.
Proven ability of critical thinking.
Show curiosity and ask questions to get to the root of things
Keep up with digital content trends and courageously try new tools and content formats based on research to innovate.
Proactively identify and develop ideas to address gaps in our thinking.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Experience with corporate marketing and branding, and a clear understanding of marketing strategies and concepts.
Experience with partner ecosystems, and their content needs.
Interpret creative direction, follow brand tone and style guides, and keep a beginner’s mind.
Participate in all necessary internal and external meetings — briefings, status, technical brainstorming sessions, and presentations — with senior leaders
Excellent English writing and speaking skills with an aptitude to understand the technical details of a product.
