In this role, you will be part of a team with hybrid engineers focused on ensuring every line of code we push to production is of the highest quality.
You will need hands-on programming experience and the ability to produce comprehensive test plans and specifications. You'll help the organization develop customer-centric quality applications by proposing and developing tools and testing framework requirements to improve engineer productivity in environment setup and testing automation. You will build, enhance, monitor, and maintain necessary test automation infrastructure to support this effort.
Responsibilities
- Independently deliver high-quality features by being a high-performing hybrid Engineer
- Drive your own designs and take on features with greater complexity
- Solve implementation problems and make design decisions
- Deliver work as a developer, reviewer, and tester of features of medium complexity, from design to execution
- Aid in the fulfillment of at least one measure on your Manager's V2MOM
- Consider and apply information on system health, customer usage, scalability, and alarm thresholds to day-to-day work
- Help manage the complexities of delivering features—slicing stories and epics, defining tasks, and exposing dependencies and risks
- Serve as a key SME and partner for the Product Manager, Lead Engineers, and Scrum Master, ensuring the team's forecasts are informed and realistic
- Support other team members working in your area, in addition to doing your own tasks during a sprint
- Contribute to internal retrospectives for your service
- Work closely with cross-functional teams across geographies and support Scrum teams
- Design and develop test and delivery frameworks and harnesses
- Monitor product and feature-level quality health metrics (testability, test health, test coverage, etc.)
- Be responsive to bugs and prioritized customer investigations
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced team-driven environment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams
- Hands-on skills with force.com, Apex, LWC, Agentforce, CI/CD and test automation tools
- JavaScript development experience (proficient with ES6+), Web Components, Node.js, Jest, Webpack, TypeScript
- Strong experience with using and building web applications using API first model
- Experience with UI development (modern HTML/CSS) and Responsive Design
- Experience developing in an enterprise environment such as command line, continuous deployment, release management
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
- Knowledge of Agentforce and hands-on experience creating agents
- Hands-on experience with Slack development
- Experience owning multiple features in a product area, including complex or highly ambiguous features
- Demonstrated understanding of platform and applications with in-depth knowledge of specific product areas
