Overview of the Role

The Salesforce Strategic Events team is seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and detail-oriented Strategic Events Coordinator to support the planning and execution of Campground across our global event portfolio.

Campground is the heart of Salesforce events where we showcase products, demos, customer success, and innovation across the entire Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you will partner closely with Campground leads, agencies, product teams, and internal stakeholders to execute critical aspects of Campground operations. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Events, this role will assist in delivering operational excellence and success for pre-, onsite and post-event planning.

Responsibilities

Event Planning & Expo Operations:

  • Support end-to-end planning for Campground experiences across Dreamforce, Connections, TDX, World Tours, and Tableau Conference.

  • Manage timelines, trackers, deliverables, and status documentation to ensure partners stay aligned throughout planning.

  • Coordinate details such as experience inputs, creative requests, product demos, technical needs, content updates, staffing, and equipment lists.

  • Assist with floorplan reviews, space planning documentation, and operational readiness checks.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Serve as a key connector between the Campground CoE, product marketing, creative/production agencies, research, and partner teams.

  • Track and route approvals, ensure assets are delivered on time, and help drive alignment across teams.

  • Support internal communications, meeting cadences, and documentation to keep planning efficient and transparent.

Onsite Event Support:

  • Provide onsite support at major events to ensure Campground opens effectively and operates smoothly.

  • Assist with daily walkthroughs, staffing check-ins, signage/demos validation, and real-time escalation of issues.

  • Gather live insights from experiences to support mid-event improvements.

Reporting and Strategic Business Operations:

  • Track and manage scan data and key performance indicators (KPIs) for each event

  • Help build recap reports, pulling key metrics and insights into clear summaries for internal and executive audiences.

  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across data sources and event programs.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in event planning, experiential marketing, expo/trade show operations, or project coordination

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Office; comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic data analysis.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and stay calm under pressure, especially onsite.

  • Familiar with Salesforce and our audience and products

  • Willingness to support onsite event execution when needed, with travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with production agencies, event vendors, or creative teams.

  • Familiarity with large-scale events, trade shows, or experiential environments.

  • Interest and proficient in analytics, reporting, and event performance metrics.

  • Knowledge of the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus.*LI-Y
