About the Role
Salesforce is seeking a highly motivated Associate Manager, Events Demand Generation to support audience acquisition, attendee engagement, and pipeline growth across our strategic events portfolio. This role is ideal for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of storytelling, execution, and data-driven decision-making, and who is excited to bring integrated, cross-channel campaigns to life for industry-leading in-person, hybrid, and virtual events.
As part of the Strategic Events Demand Generation team, you’ll partner closely with creative, web, email, social, technology, and global stakeholders to execute scalable, cost-effective campaigns that drive measurable business impact. You’ll support demand generation strategies end-to-end, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on target, and aligned to broader business objectives.
Responsibilities: What impact will the candidate make?
- Support end-to-end demand generation campaign execution across in-person, hybrid, and virtual events, spanning website, email, organic, and paid digital channels
- Support the development and execution of attendee acquisition and attendee communications programs for events of varying sizes and audiences.
- Execute campaign plans at the direction of Demand Generation leadership to drive registration, attendance, and pipeline
- Partner cross-functionally with email, web, social, creative, performance marketing, and global teams to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns.
- Drive deployment of event websites with a focus on registration conversion and audience readiness.
- Analyze audience insights and performance data to help refine event value propositions and inform platform and roadmap prioritization.
- Support analysis of campaign performance and contribute to weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting against goals.
- Assist in building repeatable and scalable demand generation frameworks for event marketing motions
- Support campaign operations, including creation of bills of materials, marketing requests, and tickets in Salesforce, Slack, and Asana
Minimum Qualifications: What is absolutely necessary?
- 3+ years of marketing experience, with a focus on audience acquisition and demand generation.
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically; understanding the big picture while executing detailed campaign work.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of marketing channels and omnichannel funnel strategies.
- Clear, concise communication skills and strong expectation-setting with cross-functional partners.
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort collaborating across teams, seniority levels, and external partners.
- Collaborative, self-motivated learner with a growth mindset.
- Analytical orientation with experience using data and insights to inform decisions, optimize campaigns, and measure performance.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel 0–10%.

- Strong presentation (deck-building) and writing skills
- Familiarity with multi-channel marketing across email, social, paid media, OOH, influencer, and more

The typical base salary range for this position is $92,600 - $140,200 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $111,200 - $152,900 annually.

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
