Salesforce is currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, to support the organization’s strategy, growth, and operational excellence. The role is opened within our EMEA Finance hub located in Dublin. You will join a small team leading and operating some key processes around cash management, foreign exchange and hedging accounting as well as intercompany.
The Manager will need to be comfortable continuously flexing in the face of the constantly changing external and internal environment, running with the pace of the business and delivering on multiple simultaneous priorities.
The role will be part of a dynamic group of highly skilled professionals having the responsibility of 30+ entities within a very fast paced and challenging business environment. Beyond your operational responsibilities, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership to continuously enhance our processes through innovation, as well as providing a high level of support to our Business Partners.
What you will do:
Subject matter expert for some key processes involving cash management, foreign exchanges and hedging accounting as well as intercompany accounting.
Ensure compliance with GAAP standards (US and IFRS), SOX controls and documentation.
Perform reconciliations and monitor reconciling and aged items.
Prepare flux analysis and prepare meaningful analysis and management comments leveraging technologies
Work with Controllership share service center teams managing the US GAAP and local GAAP accounting books.
Collaborate with internal business partners from International Tax team, Treasury as well as Corporate accounting group in HQ.
Document formally all technical accounting positions preparing accounting memos, engaging with external advisors when needed.
Engage with external auditors providing required documentation and explanation.
Collaborate with country controllers, supporting them with requests from business leaders, work councils or authorities.
Participate to key cross-functional projects upon assignment.
Evaluate process and system infrastructure, along with identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
Who you are:
CPA or regional equivalent (CMA, CA, CGA etc.) qualification required.
5+ years of experience relevant to the role at similar level.
Experience working in a fast-paced Multinational environment for a publicly traded company or audit firm.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
Experience with transfer pricing structures, calculation and booking and settlement
Experience in cash management, automated bank reconciliation in complex multi company and multi currency environment.
Experience in working in a multi-ledger integrated ERP environment, with complex data flow/system integration.
Experience managing SOX compliance programs and other country equivalents.
Results oriented, team player, willing to work in a fast growing and challenging environment
Hands-on, decisive and fast worker
Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Be a catalyst for change and able to respond quickly to various requests.
English spoken and writing is required, another European language is a plus.
