The Professional Services Sales Leader should be a proven, passionate, strategic general manager of solution sales. This individual will lead and drive a regional team of Account Partners (AP), with several Senior Directors in their reporting line, ensuring bookings and revenue targets are achieved for Professional Services. The individual must be a strategic problem solver with outstanding strategic, enterprise, commercial, and cross-functional skills, they should demonstrate high energy, and have strong sales management and leadership experience.


This role requires a forward-thinking strategist who understands the profound impact of Generative AI, new platform tooling, and Agentforce solutions on customer digital transformation roadmaps. You will be responsible not only for meeting targets but for positioning our Professional Services as the essential partner for customers navigating the next wave of intelligent business applications. Success in this role hinges on outstanding strategic, commercial, cross-functional leadership, and a deep commitment to fostering a highly motivated, high-performing sales culture.

The leader will also be a valuable contributor to the Professional Services Sales (GTM) and product strategies, sharing customer insights and perspectives and aligning with Salesforce corporate objectives. Additionally, this individual should meet with C-level client executives on a regular basis and maintain strong relationships with internal peers in core sales, product, and operations to ensure client needs are being met. The primary measurements of success for this role will be on target achievement of services bookings and revenue and margin.


Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on bookings, revenue and margin targets, ensure organisational health and high customer satisfaction goals as a regional leader.
  • Build, grow, lead and manage a team of qualified customer-focused Account partners to build long-lasting customer relationships and deliver customer business value
  • Engage at the C-Level with customers and focus on consultative selling opportunities
  • Build a strong relationship with the License Sales organisation and regional Alliances/Partner organisations that are instrumental to success and pipeline building
  • Lead and coach direct reports in sales strategy, pipeline management, opportunity management and career planning/development.
  • Help grow and maintain a healthy regional partner ecosystem to drive sales, technology adoption, and successful deployment of Salesforce
  • Mentor and develop the entire services sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training as needed.
  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings and coach direct reports on strategies to drive closings and run the business. Monitor sales activity and track results
  • Report on sales activity and forecast to Senior Sales Management
  • Support other Geo RVPs and APs by participating in and leading new and existing C-level client meetings; engage corporate resources as required to clearly communicate Salesforce's solutions and generate business value for our customers


Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Sales management and consultative selling experience at VP level (manager of sales managers), with a proven track record of leading a large team in a technology sales environment
  • Proven track record of over-achieving quota (top 10-20% of company), in a similar enterprise software application firm or System Integrator selling subscription based products
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain C-level relationships where you are recognized as a trusted advisor
  • Solid understanding and experience of CRM and AI
  • Strong, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation and listening skills
  • Highly collaborative and excels in a complex, matrixed environment
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
  • Strong customer references
  • Degree or relevant work experience required
