Responsibilities
Leading cross-functional engineering teams (typically 50+ engineers across multiple teams)
Partner with Waii.ai teams to design and integrate agentic workflows that enable seamless question answering, metric reasoning, and proactive insights.
Define end-to-end user experiences that bridge semantic models, query understanding, and visual storytelling.
Collaborate closely with engineering and research teams to operationalize LLM frameworks, context injection pipelines, and evaluation methodologies for quality and accuracy.
Champion LLM quality, performance, and trust metrics—covering latency, accuracy, and user satisfaction.
Drive architectural decisions on how deterministic and non-deterministic systems (SQL engines, LLMs, agents) interoperate.
Mentor cross-functional teams, foster a culture of innovation, and accelerate adoption of agentic analytics across surfaces (Slack, Lightning, Mobile).
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in product or engineering leadership, ideally in analytics, AI, or enterprise software.
Proven record of building and shipping products that use machine learning or LLMs to enhance user experiences.
Deep understanding of semantic layers, NL-to-SQL, and data reasoning systems.
Familiarity with agentic frameworks (LangChain, DSPy, or custom orchestration engines).
Strong technical foundation across data pipelines, visualization platforms, and cloud-scale systems.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills—able to align executives, researchers, and engineers around a shared vision.
Passion for making data accessible through conversation, context, and intelligence.
