We are seeking an Associate Manager, WS Strategy & Operations to act as a strategic enabler for the rapidly scaling LATAM Workplace Services organization, with an immediate focus on Mexico City. This role sits within the Workplace Programs function and reports to the Workplace Programs Manager, LATAM.
The core function is to bridge workplace programs with site operations (Portfolio) to drive operational excellence, budget discipline, and robust vendor governance. The Associate Manager will be responsible for translating regional strategy into consistent execution, ensuring that our Integrated Facility Management (IFM) vendor meets service expectations across the region.
Responsibilities:
* Strategic Operational Alignment: Partner directly with the WS Programs team (Strategic Ops, Service Desk, Events&Hospitality, Ecosystems) and the Operation regional leads for our sites across LATAM (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico) to stabilize and continuously elevate regional operations.
* Vendor Governance & Performance: Establish and manage a rigorous governance framework for the IFM vendor. This includes ensuring SLA compliance, tracking Root Cause Analysis (RCA), following up on action plans, and driving overall process maturity across LATAM.
* Financial Management: Own the regional budget process, including managing run rate, variance reporting, and leading inputs for annual planning to ensure budget predictability and discipline.
* Data & Insights: Develop and maintain dashboards and controls to track key performance indicators (KPIs), financial metrics, and vendor performance, providing data-driven insights for senior leadership decision-making.
* Growth & Project Support: Support hub expansion and readiness projects (e.g., space expansions, operations optimization, and programs experience rollouts) from a strategic operational perspective.
* Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the primary regional link, ensuring that local execution is fully aligned with global Workplace strategies, policies, and objectives.
* Experience Gained: This role offers the opportunity to build and scale a strategic operational model across a high-growth region, gaining deep expertise in global vendor governance, financial planning, and data-driven facilities management within a dynamic, high-tech environment.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience: +6 years os solid experience as a senior professional in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, or Workplace Services, with a strong background in operational execution.
* Vendor & Budget Management: Proven experience managing IFM vendors and administering large operational budgets, including forecasting and variance analysis.
* Strategic & Analytical Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical, strategic planning, and operational execution skills. Comfort in using metrics to drive performance and decision-making.
* Communication & Storytelling: Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is mandatory for effective regional and global communication.
* Storytelling: Great public speaking, strong presentation creation skills (decks), and a proven ability to communicate complex topics clearly and effectively.
Mindset: A proactive, resourceful self-starter comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, multi-country environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Prior experience in a global, high-tech, or B2B corporate environment.
* Advanced Data Fluency: Demonstrated ability to analyze and manipulate metrics and data in various formats, with proficiency in visualization/reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Google Sheets, or similar platforms.
