Salesforce is seeking talented and motivated Software Engineers to join the Corporate Strategy – Hyperscalers organization, helping to build the next generation of our Estimation-as-a-Service (EaaS) platform — the API-first foundation enabling Salesforce’s consumption-based business model.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, and architects to design and build systems that directly influence how Salesforce estimates, prices, and delivers value to customers. You’ll work on real-world problems at scale, learning from experienced mentors while contributing to impactful projects that support strategic growth across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain software components across all tiers: databases, APIs, business logic, integrations, and user experience.

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and product leaders to build scalable, reliable, and secure systems.

  • Participate in design discussions and contribute to technical decisions with a focus on performance, maintainability, and quality.

  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code aligned with team standards.

  • Support process automation and system integrations that improve efficiency and scalability.

  • Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous delivery processes.

  • Learn new technologies and frameworks, and proactively apply them to improve team productivity.

  • Embrace a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent combination of education and project experience). (Mid Software Engineer)

  • 6+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent combination of education and project experience). (Senior Lead Software Engineer)

  • Strong programming fundamentals: OOP, data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and concurrency.

  • Proficiency in at least one backend language such as TypeScript/Node.js, Java, Go, or Python.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, microservices, and relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).

  • Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in agile teams.

  • Growth mindset — eagerness to learn, iterate, and contribute to shared goals.

Preferred Skills (Non-Exclusive)

  • Experience with frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or similar).

  • Exposure to API design and integration patterns.

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

  • Experience working in agile environments with short release cycles.

  • Interest in consumption-based models, pricing systems, or data-driven architectures.
