The Salesforce Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multifaceted team does it all. We are a collection of creative visionaries, craftspeople, storytellers, strategists, producers, and more, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work. Our new Mexico City Design Production Studio will help us continue to scale our team globally.
About the role
As Video Editor Lead in our Mexico City Production Studio, you will be responsible for oversight on video editing & motion graphics projects that come into our team from HQ. The Video Editor Lead will help drive the editorial vision for dynamic B2B marketing content—ranging from brand films and customer stories to product explainers and thought-leadership campaigns. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling and strategy, helping global business audiences connect emotionally to complex ideas through compelling visual narratives.
You’ll oversee both editors & motion graphics, shaping the creative and technical approach for projects that span corporate communications, product marketing, and event content. The ideal candidate brings both creative vision and operational discipline—able to translate business messaging into visually engaging, high-impact content while ensuring post-production workflows run efficiently and consistently across the studio.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the editing process from ingest to final delivery for a wide range of internal and external projects
Interpret creative briefs, scripts, and raw footage to craft engaging, emotionally resonant stories.
Collaborate with art directors and producers to align editorial style with project goals.
Edit a variety of content including, branded content, short-form documentaries, internal team videos and digital campaigns.
Apply sound design, music editing, and color correction where appropriate (or liaise with relevant departments or vendors).
Ensure all content is delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest technical standards.
Implement client and internal feedback quickly and effectively while maintaining the integrity of the narrative.
Stay up to date with industry trends, editing techniques, and post-production technologies.
Manage junior editors and motion graphics team and assist in maintaining post-production workflows and organization.
Experience & Skills:
7+ years of professional experience in film/video editing, with a strong reel of commercial and documentary work.
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, with working knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Avid.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and emotional arcs in both branded and journalistic formats.
Experience with offline/online workflows, proxies, multicam editing, and working with RED, Arri, and other high-res formats.
Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and finishing techniques (you don’t need to do them all but should understand how they integrate).
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit.
Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects workflows is ideal.
