About the team
The Salesforce Global Brand & Creative team within Marketing is responsible for our brand and marketing creative. From building brand awareness campaigns to designing experiences like Dreamforce, our multifaceted team does it all. We are a collection of creative visionaries, craftspeople, storytellers, strategists, producers, and more, whose sole purpose is to bring the brand to life across our incredible portfolio of work. Our new Mexico City Design Production Studio will help us continue to scale our team globally.
We are looking for a creative project manager who will be responsible for managing work coming into the Mexico City Studio team from the HQ creative and marketing teams. You will work closely with the Studio Manager and your internal creative resources to deliver on projects submitted through our intake channel. This is a key role for a highly proactive, results-oriented person with the ability to communicate effectively, encourage sound decision-making and guide the teams he/she works with to successfully deliver on commitments.
The ideal candidate has previous experience working in an agency and/or internal creative department with experience on a variety of digital & traditional campaigns where high quality results are required. A project manager is highly comfortable facilitating and coaching teams in a fast paced, solutions oriented environment. This individual will drive the execution of projects across Salesforce’s Global Brand Marketing team across demand gen campaigns, global events, internal projects and brand initiatives. .
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Studio Manager in Mexico City and the operations team in HQ on workflow process, tracking projects and allocating resources within Slack Lists
Organize and facilitate project planning, weekly meetings, and presentations. Track milestones and tasks with assigned teams
Identify and remove impediments that block the team’s ability to meet project objectives
Provide timely status reports; introduce mitigation tactics to minimize project delivery risks and communicate timelines and approval framework for cross team understanding
Facilitate team discussions and resolve conflict
Partner with Operations Lead and other PM leads to identify, develop, and roll-out new processes when appropriate
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years of project/program management experience in a creative agency or internal creative marketing team that produces marketing campaigns.
Experience managing large scale campaigns with multiple placements across a variety of media.
Experience in digital and social media space.
Preferred Qualifications:
Outstanding organizational, negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
High proficiency in English
Ability to thrive in a rapid paced environment on multiple projects in a large company atmosphere.
Proven experience working for creative brands both consumer and B2B. Strong command of the creative process for development of traditional media.
Ability to work on a global scale across many internal stakeholders with varying degrees of experience with a strong understanding of the production of digital, print, video and events assets.
Ability to manage, envision and run large campaigns and small, scrappy assignments with tight deadlines.
Outstanding organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Experience working with teams cross-functional teams across multiple departments
