Overview:
The Order Management Specialist is responsible for ensuring all the orders, Credit and Cancellations are within Salesforce.com compliance policies and related documents are posted accurately within the Salesforce application. Individual must be able to work in a team environment, be self- motivated, and extremely detail-oriented. The requirements are for support in Pacific timezone (PST).
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and process quotes to ensure compliance with Salesforce.com policies.
* Adjust opportunities as per given guidelines to ensure accuracy for forecasting purposes
* Respond to process & policy questions and effectively communicate requirements
* Manage queues and share best practices and knowledge as one Global Order Management Team
* Establish strong relationships with Sales Operations, Renewals, Collections, Compensation, Legal, Sales, Provisioning, Services and other internal resources as appropriate
* Participate in new process development and process improvement projects as well as other ad hoc projects
* Coordinate the routing of documents for necessary internal and external signatures. Maintain an organized and auditable record of all reviewed and executed documents.
* Process credit memos in alignment with company policies, approval workflows and SOX compliance requirements.
* Manage and process order cancellations and reductions, ensuring accurate application of business rules and controls.
* Communicate any discrepancies or issues to the relevant teams or management for resolution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Must have strong research and problem-solving abilities
* Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to articulate verbally and written, ability to think quickly
* Excellent time management skills.
* Ability to excel in a fast growing/fast paced environment, delivering accuracy while managing deadlines - adaptability is imperative.
* Must be able to maintain a calm and positive attitude in stressful/ time sensitive situations.
* Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
* Escalate complex issues to the appropriate channels for resolution.
* Hands on experience on ERP systems for credit memo creation, preferably workday will be a plus.
* Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance requirements, particularly as they relate to financial transaction processing.
* Flexible availability to support operations primarily aligned with Pacific Standard Time (PST), while also accommodating varying work hours as needed to meet evolving business requirement.
