As an Associate Solution Engineer, you will play a key role in helping customers in the LATAM ESMB segment understand how Tableau can solve their data and analytics challenges. This is an ideal position for someone early in their career, passionate about technology, and eager to develop expertise in analytics and business intelligence while partnering with Account Executives and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and master the core features and value of Tableau’s analytics platform.

  • Support Account Executives by preparing and delivering standard product demonstrations and presentations to customers.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and position Tableau as the right solution.

  • Participate in discovery sessions, collecting key customer needs and pain points.

  • Assist in Proof of Concept (POC) activities with oversight from Solution Engineers.

  • Act as a customer advocate by sharing feedback with Product and Engineering teams.

  • Continuously develop your technical and business knowledge through training, mentorship, and hands-on practice.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in a technical, analytics, or pre-sales related role (internship experience counts).

  • Advanced English, Spanish is a plus.

  • Curiosity and willingness to learn about data visualization, analytics, and business intelligence.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts simply.

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively with peers and sales teams.

  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of SQL or databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.

  • Exposure to data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is desirable.

  • Interest in developing technical skills over time (ETL, APIs, integrations).
