Global Professional Services Talent Development is seeking an experienced learning development professional to assist our team in designing, developing, and implementing learning experiences and programs for a variety of practice areas which enables our employees to grow, develop and contribute to company growth.

This role is responsible for ensuring the successful design and delivery of learning experiences for Global Professional Services, and supporting initiatives related to talent development and thought leadership content creation. A trusted advisor to the business, the Senior Manager, Learning Experience Design draws on deep program design/facilitation experience and solid business acumen to develop innovative learning and development programs that produce measurable impact and support the talent pipeline of a fast-paced, high-growth company.

Communication and organizational skills are core to this role. Success in this role will involve partnering closely with subject matter experts, project managers, and other stakeholders to define learning objectives and create impactful learning experiences..

Responsibilities:

  • Consult with business stakeholders to understand and address their development needs, identify appropriate sponsorship for programs and initiatives, and ensure alignment with business partners.

  • Provide both strategic and operational support for the design and delivery of a variety of cutting edge development programs, including budget, vendor, and stakeholder management.

  • Conduct needs assessments to determine training requirements

  • Design and develop instructional materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and performance support tools

  • Use instructional design methodologies and techniques to create engaging and effective training

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure the accuracy and relevance of training content

  • Develop specific evaluation and assessment tools to measure impact, including: business results, ROI, enhanced talent pipeline, and improved behaviors clearly demonstrated.

  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and scalability of development initiatives.

  • Develop and maintain learning assets, curriculum, and a variety of talent development best practices that align with organizational goals and values.

  • Partner with external vendors where appropriate and manage budget and vendor agreements when necessary.

  • Mentor and coach colleagues and emerging designers, leaders, and talent development practitioners across Global Professional Services.

  • Manages multi-stakeholder projects as needed, including developing project teams, managing priorities, and delivering results.

  • Staying current with new developments in instructional design, technology, and industry trends and practically applies those learnings into deliverables.

  • The Senior Learning Designer will also have a high level of expertise in instructional design methodologies and tools and may be responsible for leading instructional design projects and teams.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • ~10 years of progressive Learning/OD/Leadership experience within large organizations

  • Deep knowledge of leadership and organization development, change theories, learning models and best practices, instructional design strategies, and learning assessment - and a natural curiosity for leveraging leading edge practices

  • Extensive experience designing development programs and courses in multiple modalities, including high-touch face-to-face and live-online using a variety of technologies

  • Passionate about vertical leadership development, the ‘humanizing’ of work, and the importance of developing top talent in a high-growth environment

  • Broad organization leadership development and coaching experience desirable

  • Ability to establish strong presence with stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into critical, practical talent development initiatives

  • Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $213,800.
