As a Salesforce Technical Architect Comunications, The Technical Architect is responsible for successfully designing and managing the delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for our customers.
You are both a big picture thinker and in-depth problem solver, your knowledge and skills are both broad and deep. You take pride in designing systems that stand up to high volumes and won't fail at critical points. You have a good mix of technical and enterprise skills when it comes to architecting a solution. The solutions you design are built for the long-term and will scale with the customer's growth plans seamlessly. You have proven experience integrating systems via API’s as well as a strong development background
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Architecture: Lead technical design sessions and translate complex business requirements into well-architected solutions that leverage the Salesforce platform and its various products, SFI Industries, APEX and Omnistudio
- Technical Leadership: You might lead a team of developers guiding them though the best practices, providing them an end to end vision, value driven scalable solutions, your solutions include but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce products, APIs, Lightning Experience & Component development, Apex/Visualforce, mobile development technologies, and integration middleware/ETL technologies.
- Release & DevOps Management: Lead/manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migrations. You will contribute to establish and manage DevOps strategies, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (GIT), and environment management for large-scale implementations.
- Project Collaboration: Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, set expectations, and identify gaps between their current and desired states. You will also participate in pre-sales activities such as discovery sessions and Proof-Of-Concept (POC) development.
- System Integration: Architect and manage integrations with external systems via APIs and ETL technologies. You should have a strong background in designing and building large web-based systems.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively debug and resolve complex technical issues as they arise, applying a deep understanding of the project and its components.
- Salesforce Liaison: Work with Salesforce product teams to support client implementations and ensure solutions align with platform best practices.
- Travel: Be prepared for travel to client sites, averaging approximately 50% of the time, to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 9+ years of experience as a technical architect, with at least 6+ years on the Salesforce platform.
- Platform Expertise: Expert-level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including Sales, Service, Analytics, and Experience Clouds, with OmniStudio and SFI knowledge being a plus.
- Architectural Knowledge: Deep understanding of systems architecture, key design and integration patterns, and best practices for managing large data volumes. You should also be familiar with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth).
- Development Background: Strong background in designing and developing large web-based systems, including a comprehensive understanding of the full software product lifecycle.
- DevOps & Release Management: Experience with environment management, release management, code versioning, and deployment methodologies.
- Security & Data: Familiarity with platform security capabilities (TLS, SSL) and data sharing/visibility models.
- Soft Skills: Be a proactive and self-managed professional with the ability to challenge the status quo and propose creative yet well-thought-out solutions.

- Salesforce Certified App Builder
- Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I
- Salesforce Certified Administrator / Advanced Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Omnistudio Developer
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect
- Salesforce Certified System Architect
- English proficient
Nice to Have Skills
- Prior experience in the Communications Cloud, Media Cloud salesforce industries.
- Certifications: Active Salesforce certifications or the ability to achieve relevant certifications upon hire. Candidates with the Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credentials are highly desirable.
