It is a six months program on third party contract and over the course of six months, program participants will work within Salesforce's Technology, Sales, or Customer Success team, receive on-the-job training from Salesforce leaders, and be paired with a mentor to help navigate their career.
Role 1: Sales Programs Analyst - Return to Work Program
About the Programs Team
The Programs team drives productivity, optimizes the seller experience, and partners with leaders to deliver sales growth through data-driven insights.
We are looking for a Sales Programs professional to join our team in Salesforce India, with a focus on prioritizing and activating sales plays, driving operational excellence, and supporting business outcomes at scale.
This role is part of our Return-to-Work initiative for women. We welcome talented women professionals who have taken a career break and are eager to re-enter the workforce. You’ll receive mentorship, flexibility, and an inclusive environment designed to help you transition back and thrive.
Responsibilities
Analyse, prioritize, and operationalize sales plays that support Account Executives in driving scalable revenue.
Partner with India sales teams and cross-functional groups to execute programs and initiatives across industries and segments.
Work with global and local Sales Programs teams to strengthen pipeline generation and progression.
Support the operational rhythm for sales programs, ensuring alignment with leadership priorities.
Build ad hoc sales plays based on market wins, industry trends, or customer opportunities.Lead program communications across the organization to create focus, adoption, and measurable impact.
Stay responsive to market and regulatory changes, adapting programs and plays as needed.
Manage ad hoc priorities and special projects from senior leadership.
Desired Skills & Experience
Currently on a career break of minimum 1 year.
5+ years of experience in Sales Programs, Sales Enablement, Campaign Management, or Program Management with strong stakeholder engagement.
Proven track record in executing structured programs that improve sales productivity and pipeline health.
Strong understanding of the SaaS sales cycle (lead generation, pipeline progression, closing).
Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and functions in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.Excellent communication and storytelling skills — able to simplify complex concepts and influence stakeholders.
Experience in strategy, consulting, or business analytics is an advantage.
Self-starter with a high degree of accountability and ownership.
