Salesforce is seeking an Engineer to build, test and monitor solutions that run on our best-of-class integration platform to interconnect cloud and enterprise data. These solutions are critical to the success of the Public Sector Line of Business. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience on Salesforce-on-Salesforce technologies which include but are not limited to force.com, APEX / Javascript / SOQL, Data Cloud, Government Cloud, Mulesoft, SFDX, Tableau and Slack etc.
To be successful at this position you must be a self-starter, take accountability, speak up, work at a quick pace, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping a good sense of humor. You must possess good oral and written skills and be able to collaborate effectively with other team members. Contribute ideas and provide feedback on how to continually improve the way we innovate solutions.
Responsibilities
Participate in discovery and design sessions
Document and present implementation designs to peers, stakeholders and review board
Coordinate with stakeholders to align on the development environment and launch dependencies
Implement approved designs to meet integration requirements
Write, execute and maintain automated unit tests
Provide investigative support on new & existing integrations
Work with project managers to provide timely status and feedback to stakeholders
Align to Agile Methodology
Partner closely with BT Business & Enterprise Architects, Product Managers, Program Staff, QA and other Business Technology teams to execute acquisition integration projects
Keep up with targeted security, technical and business training
Required Skills
6+ years of force.com configurations, APEX / Javascript /SOQL and unit testing
4+ years of development using Salesforce-on-Salesforce technologies such as Mulesoft Anypoint / DevHub, Data Cloud, Government Cloud, Agentforce, Tableau and/or Slack
3+ years experience writing & running automated tests with JUnit and Postman
3+ years experience working with XSL/T, XPath expressions & functions
Experience in small to large size implementations, working with geographically distributed teams
Has strong experience in the Application Integration Architecture, Solution Design, and Development using Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Solid Programming skills using Object-Oriented Design Patterns, JSON, XML, REST Web Services Framework
Experience with Mulesoft administration, configuration and tuning
Experience consuming open and/or private APIs, such as Google, Salesforce.com, Snowflake, Slack, etc.
Demonstrated experience implementing Mulesoft ESB architecture, rules, caching, etc. and troubleshooting Mulesoft ESB debuggers, flow analyzers and configuration tools
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus
Background in both agile scrum or kanban methodologies
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills and the ability to interact with all level of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients
Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
A related technical degree required
Required Certifications
Salesforce Basic and Advanced Administrator Certifications
Mulesoft Developer Certification, a plus
