Prime Named Account Executive (Marketing, Commerce, and Data Cloud solutions) – Netherlands

The Prime Named Account Executive is a trusted advisor to top Dutch prospects and customers, championing our Marketing, Commerce, and Data Cloud solutions. These platforms enable personalised, relevant experiences across channels and devices. We’re looking for an experienced, quota-carrying sales executive who thrives both as an Individual Contributor and as part of a broader Account Team, driving engagement across the full Salesforce Digital technology stack.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the go-to expert on how top Dutch companies leverage Salesforce Digital solutions.

  • Educate broader Account Teams on the full capabilities of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, and Data Cloud technologies.

  • Collaborate with Account and Territory Teams to identify and prioritise target accounts.

  • Create and drive new revenue opportunities within a defined region and/or named accounts.

  • Generate pipeline through networking, cold-calling, and prospecting into existing Salesforce customers.

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle for the full digital stack, including:

    • Lead generation

    • Deal strategy

    • Pricing and packaging

    • Closing support

  • Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Lead brand awareness initiatives and generate demand via events, industry associations, and campaigns.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, account plans, and forecasting in Salesforce.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven passion for selling transformative enterprise software or tech solutions to C-level executives in organisations with 1,000+ employees.

  • 7–15 years of experience in technology or software sales, including account management and enterprise sales.

  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

  • Clear point of view on industry trends and the ability to articulate a compelling digital transformation narrative.

  • Preference for candidates with:

    • Experience in digital marketing sales

    • Familiarity with Marketing Technology (MarTech)

    • Prior experience with the full Salesforce Marketing Tech Stack (Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Commerce Cloud)

  • Consistent track record of sales success both as an individual contributor and within team environments.

  • Strong business acumen, executive presence, and ability to engage C-level stakeholders.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, and collaborative environment.

  • Ability to deliver high-level product demos and serve as a product expert throughout the sales cycle.

  • Experience collaborating with solution engineers to build tailored demo experiences.

  • Skilled at virtual selling via online meetings, webinars, and remote engagements.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.
