About Salesforce

Salesforce is the #1 AI CRM, where humans with agents drive customer success together. Here, ambition meets action. Tech meets trust. And innovation isn’t a buzzword — it’s a way of life. The world of work as we know it is changing and we're looking for Trailblazers who are passionate about bettering business and the world through AI, driving innovation, and keeping Salesforce's core values at the heart of it all.

Ready to level-up your career at the company leading workforce transformation in the agentic era? You’re in the right place! Agentforce is the future of AI, and you are the future of Salesforce.

Salesforce is building deep vertical CRM products - disrupting each industry one by one. And just as we invest in building great products, we also invest in ensuring these products are easy to adopt.

This role in the Product organization to support adoption of Salesforce Commerce Cloud for various industries (Consumer Goods, Communications, and Media Clouds), Domains (Field Service and Scheduler), and Customer C360 Apps (Sales, Service, and Commerce Clouds)

As part of the Product Management team for Commerce Cloud, you will support the development of a multi-release roadmap for successful adoption of this product, including per-release strategies on:

  • How we instrument the product to measure adoption, and the targets we set to define success

  • How we incorporate new features into Trial Orgs and Sales Demo Orgs to showcase our latest capabilities

  • How we improve ease of implementation through targeted investments in documentation, enablement, and automated setup

  • How we can accelerate the efforts of our ecosystem of implementation partners, sales engineers, support agents, and other customer-facing teams to make it easier to help customers get the most value from their Industries product

Although this is an individual contributor role, you will need to bring a “Chief Adoption Officer” mindset as you work closely with product leaders and report progress monthly to the SVP or General Manager for your cloud. As a trusted advisor to these leaders, your strategies will be informed by a variety of firsthand and data-driven sources:

  • As a member of the product team, you will regularly meet with customer-facing and partner-facing teams (including some customer/partner interaction) to understand the barriers or points of friction they face in embracing their Industries product

  • As a hands-on expert with the Salesforce platform, you will experience firsthand the level of effort required to configure new features each release, and the extent to which documentation and other supporting assets make the process easier

  • As a specialist on adoption, you will have support from our adoption data analysts and dashboards to help you identify and analyze usage trends by feature, geography, customer size, tenure, and more.

  • As a member of the Adoption team, you will be supported by the experience, strategies, and innovations of fellow adoption leads who cover over 20 additional industry-specific products and embedded components

Here is what we need you to bring:

  • You are a skilled communicator, experienced in presenting to and collaborating with a broad range of senior and executive stakeholders in areas such as Sales, Marketing, Professional Services, Engineering, and Product Management.

  • You are outspoken and passionate, and do not hesitate to speak your mind - even to those in more senior roles - to advocate for recommended strategies, mitigate risks, or even voice difficult truths in the interest of ensuring successful adoption of your product.

  • You look forward to getting hands-on to configure new Salesforce features each release, and likely have recent experience configuring Salesforce/Commerce Cloud (or similar) for real-world implementations, demos, or proof of concepts

  • You understand Product Management, the product development lifecycle, and have experience bringing new innovations to the market

  • You are passionate about ensuring customers see value from our products, and recognize the importance of rapid and successful adoption as a driver of faster growth and lower attrition for our cloud-based products.

Experience Required:

  • 10+ years experience influencing and advising senior leaders and decision makers as a consultant, Solution Engineer, Success Manager, or similar roles that show your ability to align functional leaders around a common vision.

  • 5+ years of Salesforce (or similar) implementation consulting, or equivalent experience that demonstrates prior hands-on technical depth as well as understanding of the challenges customers face in adopting new software innovation

  • 5+ years experience in outbound/inbound product management or sales engineering delivering SaaS/cloud solutions

  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, including developing polished presentations for use at the executive level

  • Ability to work with a degree of ambiguity and flexibility to re-frame and solve adoption challenges
