At Salesforce, Finance and Strategy (F&S) works closely with leaders across the organization to produce financial plans and deliver key insights to drive the best possible investment decisions, focusing primarily on growth and execution of our aggressive long-range plans.

This role serves as a trusted advisor to the business to help inform and guide decision making through business partner support and innovative and insightful analyses. The primary role of the Senior Financial Analyst will be supporting the EMEA Core Sales business, and the coordination of workforce cost planning and analysis. This is a key position on the EMEA Sales team, but will also work cross-functionally within F&S to deliver exceptional results through process improvement, project based initiatives, enhanced management reporting and providing key access to data.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with key business partners, cross functional/cross geos teams and with the business

  • Partner with EMEA Sales Finance Business Partner leads and Strategy teams on forecasting, analysing and controlling activities

  • Capacity planning, optimization and process management of headcount

  • Analyse the key performance metrics that drive the business (KPIs), with a focus on driving actions and outcomes to optimize company resources and resource allocation.

  • Participate in process improvement projects, including development and implementation of new business processes and best practices

  • Develop scalable reporting leveraging Tableau

  • Perform various ad-hoc analyses, such as financial analyses to optimise business performance

Required Experience / Skills

Technical skills:

  • At least 3 to 5 years post qualification experience in an FP&A, Finance & Strategy, Accounting, Operations, Business Consulting or Sales Strategy function of a multinational entity

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, successfully applying this skillset to the business context

  • Ability to digest and problem solve complex and ambiguous asks, and present in a compelling and visually appealing way

  • Strong ability to build compelling storylines that identify drivers of business issues

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to establish and manage business partnering and stakeholder relationships

Non-technical skills:

  • Thrives in an environment of collaboration/teamwork but is also a self-starter, requiring limited guidance

  • Get it done attitude

  • Ability to deal with a fast moving dynamic environment with high degree of ambiguity

  • Clear, concise, and professional communications - written & verbal; interpersonal skills

  • Sharp attention to details

  • Strong desire to process improve and drive efficiencies
