Role Summary: Orchestrating Partner Project Success

As a Partner Project Manager (PPM), you will serve as a key enabler for our
Salesforce ecosystem partners. You'll drive project excellence and consistent
implementation quality by providing strategic governance oversight, proactive risk
mitigation, and operational guidance. This role is crucial for empowering partners to
deliver seamless customer experiences and maximize value realization from their
Salesforce investments.

Your Impact & Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
Central Point of Coordination: Serve as the primary orchestrator across
multiple partner-led projects, ensuring meticulous progress tracking,
comprehensive status reporting, and unwavering alignment with Salesforce's
stringent standards.
Proactive Project Health & Governance: Conduct periodic, in-depth
project reviews to assess health, evaluate risk posture, track milestone
achievement, and ensure the highest standards of delivery quality. Provide
actionable feedback, insightful recommendations, and industry best practices
to continuously elevate partner project execution and governance.
Risk Mitigation & Resolution: Monitor and actively manage project risks,
critical issues, intricate dependencies, and escalations, ensuring rigorous
documentation and diligent resolution follow-ups. Act as an advocate for
customers during the triage and resolution of high-severity cases, facilitating
timely resolution.
Drive Standardized Delivery Excellence: Champion consistency in
partner delivery practices by proactively identifying gaps and leading efforts
to define or refine governance content, standardize project templates,
develop robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and create impactful
enablement materials.
Strategic Partner Engagement: Facilitate regular cadence calls with
partner teams to meticulously track delivery status, proactively surface key
issues, and ensure alignment on implementation objectives and milestones.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support Partner Sales Managers (PSMs),
Partner Account Managers (PAMs), and other Salesforce internal stakeholders
by providing invaluable project insights, identifying partner capability trends,
and guiding advisory escalations.
Portfolio Oversight & Strategic Alignment: Maintain comprehensive
oversight across a diverse portfolio of multiple partners and engagements
simultaneously, ensuring seamless alignment with broader partner
enablement goals and Salesforce's strategic objectives.
Reporting & Insights: Prepare and publish incisive reports and status
updates for senior Salesforce leadership, contributing valuable data and
insights that also support crucial partner maturity initiatives.
Best Practice Development: Develop and maintain internal-facing
documentation of project learnings, delivery quality benchmarks, and
essential partner maturity indicators, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
Educational Foundation: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a
closely related field.
Extensive Project/Program Management: 10-15+ years of progressive
experience in project or program management, with a strong preference for
backgrounds within cloud/SaaS environments or professional services
organizations.
Salesforce Ecosystem Exposure: Prior direct exposure to Salesforce
delivery projects or a related ecosystem is a non-negotiable requirement.
Multitasking & Prioritisation Mastery: Proven expertise in concurrently
managing multiple complex projects, demonstrating an exceptional ability to
prioritise, execute with precision, and communicate effectively under
pressure.
Cloud Delivery Lifecycle Acumen: A profound understanding of cloud-
based solution delivery lifecycles, methodologies (including Agile or hybrid
models), and relevant tools.
Governance & Influence: Demonstrated capability in leading high-level
governance discussions, expertly managing diverse stakeholders, and
influencing critical delivery outcomes, particularly at the C-level.
Exceptional Organization & Detail: Highly organized, meticulously detail-
oriented, with outstanding follow-through, documentation, and task tracking
skills.
Tool Proficiency: Expert proficiency in industry-standard project
management tools, collaboration platforms (e.g., Slack, Quip, Jira, Trello), and
comprehensive productivity suites (e.g., Google Workspace, MS Office—
especially Excel/Sheets). Should be aware about DevOps tool sets required to
deliver a project on cloud (hands on experience in setting up and use will be
preferred).
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written
communication skills, complemented by a consultative and highly
collaborative working style that fosters strong partnerships.
Analytical & Problem-Solving: Superior analytical and problem-solving
skills, with the innate ability to dissect complex issues and rapidly identify
robust solutions.
Ownership & Customer-First Mindset: A high degree of personal
ownership, a strong sense of urgency, and an unwavering customer-first
mindset.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with key Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing)
and a deep understanding of their platform capabilities.
Familiarity with DevOps tool sets required to deliver a project on cloud (hands
on experience in setting up and use will be preferred).
Ability to expertly construct or critically review project deliverables such as
comprehensive staffing plans, detailed solution proposals, intricate milestone
plans, or high-level architecture summaries.
Exposure to partner enablement initiatives, partner lifecycle management, or
channel operations is a significant advantage.
Proven content creation experience for governance assets, comprehensive
best practices documentation, or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Strategic Alignment: Consistently communicate and align with partner
delivery leads on critical implementation objectives, key milestones, and
emerging concerns.
Performance Monitoring: Track and report meticulously on risk mitigation
plans, precise delivery statuses, and comprehensive project health
dashboards.
Proactive Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and flag potential delivery
challenges, then expertly coordinate cross-functional resolution efforts.
Best Practice Adoption: Guide partners in the seamless adoption of
standardised project governance practices and proven templates.
Knowledge Management: Develop and meticulously maintain internal-
facing documentation of project learnings, essential delivery quality
benchmarks, and crucial partner maturity indicators.
