Overview of the Role:
The Workplace Associate Manager will be a key member and people leader of the Melbourne Workplace Services Team, integrated vendors, programs and portfolio. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager Workplace Services ANZ, located in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Real Estate and Workplace Services, and be capable of managing hard facilities building services and vendors in implementing design, new build projects and ongoing operations with support from REWS Project Management.

This role is multifaceted with a high emphasis on facility and building management, workplace services office programs, hospitality delivery and customer service best practices. This role is pivotal in providing unparalleled support for Salesforce's unique company culture and employee experience, with a key focus on strategic growth space utilisation along with a deeper understanding and business partner engagement across the enterprise.
Additional skill sets must include leadership, people and vendor management, critical thinking, innovation, analytical mindset and agility to execute on multiple initiatives. The role requires strong facilities, technical skills and office service experience, with demonstrated or proven success in a dynamic and fast paced corporate or hospitality environment, teamed with professional communication skills and team collaboration.

Responsibilities:
Assist with the delivery of on-going learning and development of the local Workplace Services Team of professionals. Motivate and champion teamwork and collaboration with an aim to win as a team.
Through our integrated outsourced vendor, manage building facility operations and identify both building and customer workplace needs by providing a high level of timely services to ticket requests and supporting programs that include hard services, preventative and reactive facility maintenance plans and office soft services such as janitorial cleaning, snack program, etc.
Continuous improvement and execution of Workplace Services ticket management and the associated processes and policies, adhering to defined SLAs and solutions that engage and enhance our internal and external customer experience.

Communicate effectively and develop strong relationships with key Salesforce Business Partners.
Coordinate with Salesforce finance partners to ensure that all accounting, sourcing and procurement rules are adhered to. Manage annual OPEX budgets, associated vendor SLAs, RFPs, purchase orders and invoicing.
Support the Real Estate and Project Management team to deliver CAPEX and OPEX real estate projects to budget and schedule and delivered to the global Salesforce playbook global standards as required.
Provide high touch attention to detail for new space openings. Every part of the delivery should be delivered to the highest quality and signed off as 'show ready' before employees move into new spaces.
Assist in the implementation of health and safety management programs, ensuring programs are consistent with local regulation and corporate guidelines. Coordinate emergency response plans and health and safety local leads.
Take part as an active team member of the Site Response, Health and Safety Emergency Response Team and Regional Crisis Management Team.
In partnership with the physical security team, ensure appropriate levels of physical security at the office in addition to the guest management and delivery sign in security processes.
Maintain a cooperative relationship with building engineering and management staff, ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations, including Sustainability programs, operational charges and services pertaining to cleaning, HVAC, and security both within the Salesforce tenancy and external common areas in the building.
Support the Workplace Services Events and Guest Services Team in conjunction with Senior Leadership, Marketing and Employee Success (HR) to ensure the smooth operation and delivery of all internal business events (e.g. Employee All Hands, Town Halls, Quarterly Updates) and company events (e.g. Customer meetings, Company and Regional Kick Offs, Salesforce Birthday, World Tour, Executive level and Employee Resource group and non profits).

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Strong facility/office real estate management experience.
Proven experience in vendor management.
Proven people management skills and training.
Superior analytical skills, judgment, and decision making.
Familiarity with all technology tools and how to leverage them in workplace services messaging, presentations and data reporting. Proficient use of Slack, Tableau and the Google Suite Workspace (similar to advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite of programs) is required.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and strategy skills.
Courageous communication skills, expert and creative verbal, written, and visual storytelling.
Previous experience and ability to work within a fast-paced, customer-centric environment, with a keen understanding of corporate culture building and employee engagement.
Flexibility and ability to manage multiple Stakeholders, Senior Leadership, Business Partners and Vendor relationships.
Self starter; handles self with minimal supervision and autonomy with a proactiveness in meeting deadlines.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:
Event coordination and experience is desirable.
Bachelor's degree or industry standard equivalent qualifications.
Experience in facilitating office relocations and decommission of existing sites
