If you believe in business as the greatest platform for change and in companies doing well and doing good – you’ve come to the right place.

Description

The Content Experience (CX) group is responsible for the authoring and maintenance of world-class product knowledge information for Salesforce’s suite of products. From help topics to API references to Trailhead courses, over 400 CX creators whip up the best product content in the industry, and they need world-class technical infrastructure to match, in order to deliver hundreds of thousands of assets multiple times a year.

The CX Technologies team is looking for a Director of Product Management to come on board and help us fulfill our vision of enabling frictionless, delightful experiences for all phases of the author and content lifecycles. Or, using words a normal human would say, we want Salesforce writers and content to have the best lives ever, and we want your help to make that a reality.

As a key product partner, you will be responsible for defining and executing the product vision for a new, modern author lifecycle experience for all of Salesforce’s technical writers, from onboarding to content creation / management / optimization to offboarding. You will envision strategies for ideal training and enablement, content repositories, content formats, Generative AI integration, ideal authoring / publishing workflows, and more. This cross-functional role works with teams from all across the CX org, including content strategy & design, information architecture, technical writers, and their managers. You need to have a deep understanding of the challenges technical writers face in this new era of AI productivity, combined with a strong desire to improve and enhance writer efficiency. You will need to be an A-plus-pro-level communicator, switch between strategic and tactical thinking, and lead with (com)passion.

  • You love working on cross-functional teams

  • You are detail- and deadline-oriented

  • You have a collaborative leadership style

  • You know how to work in a fast-paced technical environment with changing priorities

  • You know how to execute effectively with globally distributed teams

  • You know Scrum Product Owner responsibilities like the back of your hand
