Public Sector Transport is undergoing a period of significant change as the new government looks to better serve the passenger. Salesforce has been successful in driving customer success across the many verticals that exist within the UK transport ecosystem and the time is right for Salesforce to capitalise on this success and drive digital transformation at scale that delivers against the new government's objectives.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive (AE) to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of Salesforce across the Public Sector Transport Vertical. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing deals with new and existing customers, helping them achieve their digital transformation goals.
This role requires someone with a deep understanding of the UK Transport ecosystem and both the challenges and opportunities that exist. The successful candidate will be able to work across the wider team to share insights and work on joint propositions as required.
Responsibilities
Identify and qualify new leads for all Salesforce products and services
Develop and nurture relationships with senior customer stakeholders including understanding their business objectives and digital transformation challenges.
Position Salesforce's solutions as the best way to address customers' outstanding needs and drive business growth.
Build compelling presentations and proposals that optimally communicate the value proposition of Salesforce's Digital solutions.
Leading a virtual internal team to build a road map and strategic plan for each account, bringing them into the sales process whenever possible.
Be able to manage the entire end-to-end sales cycle and utilise MEDDIC methodology to assist with qualifying opportunities at every stage
Negotiate and close deals, securing new business and growing customer relationships.
Lead a pipeline of opportunities, supervising progress and providing accurate forecasting.
Provide ongoing customer support, ensuring customer success and improving the value they derive from Salesforce's solutions.
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies to effectively advise customers and deliver innovative solutions.
Understand the Partner ecosystem that is relevant to this vertical and your customers. These partners will need to align with your objectives and Point of View in order to deliver customer value.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience as an AE or Sales Representative in the technology industry, with a proven record of success in identifying, developing, and closing deals.
Strong understanding of UK Transport ecosystem and the complexities that are invovlved in working with each individual organisation
Deep knowledge of Salesforce solutions, with the ability to articulate their benefits and applications to potential customers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with customers at all levels, from technical guides to business decision-makers.
Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to secure new business and expand customer relationships.
A results-oriented attitude with a passion for driving growth and achieving ambitious goals.
A positive, can-do approach to activity that drives energy and enthusiasm across the virtual team.
