Salesforce Professional Services team works across every technology and system to deliver solutions to customers in every industry.
As a Infrastructure Technical Architect on our Services team, you will have the opportunity to enable our customers to understand and employ MuleSoft platforms while coaching and mentoring elite members of a fast-paced, growing organization. You will be an influencer and thought leader with in-depth technical expertise, credibility, and field experience to establish yourself as a subject-matter expert in a company leading innovation.
Required:
Experience with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
Experience with configuring IaaS services on AWS, Azure or any other major cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Strong infrastructure automation capabilities to include familiarity with infrastructure as code. Experience using Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, Azure Resource Manager, etc
Working knowledge of networking, Linux, systems programming, distributed systems, databases, cloud computing
Production-level experience in at least one high-level command-line interface-written code language (Java, C++, etc) and at least one dynamic language (Ruby, Python, etc.)
Preferred:
At-least one of Cloud Architect / Solution Architect Certification (AWS/Azure/GCP)
Certified Kubernetes Architect (CNCF equivalent certification. eg: CKA, CKAD)
MuleSoft Platform Architect
Anypoint Runtime fabric training and/or deployment experience
DevSecOps - Infra as Code and Platform as Code training or certifications
Working knowledge of Gravity/Gravitational - now Teleport
Experience working on Redhat OpenShift platform and with operators.
Demonstrated expertise and track record of architecting, implementing, and supporting Enterprise-grade (highly available, scalable, secure) infrastructure powering complex business solutions
Demonstrated experience with Highly-Availability, Scalability, Performance Testing & Tuning on multiple engagements
Exceptional hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Extensive working experience with Internet technologies and protocols like TCP/IP, HTTP, VPN, DNS, SSL/TLS, etc.
Working knowledge with at least one RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, Oracle DB), NoSQL (Cassandra, MongoDB), distributed key-value store ( like etcd) and Time-series DB (InfluxDB)
Excellent customer-facing communication/expectation managing skills and strong cognitive ability
